Easy to use, precise cuts, professional quality!

Everything about this cutting system is great. I purchased it for making kaleidoscopes and it has served its purpose well. I've had this system for several months now and it seems to be holding up great. I cut glass from 1mm thick to as much as 3mm and it just keeps chugging. The cutting wheel is durable and it comes with an oil well to keep it lubed. I love being able to set the perfect angle. Super easy to assemble and use for many different projects.

The board is large, can catch many tiny shards of glass that can scratch glass surfaces(or cause the inevitable bleeds we glass workers all know about!). For artists new to stained glass it can really help with strip cutting and angles, for seasoned artists it just helps make the job go faster, especially for repetitive cuts. The “flying beetle” cuts great, the only downside is the instructions could be more clear, but that’s what YouTube is for!

I purchased this for cutting front surface mirrors for my kaleidoscopes. I have never cut glass before so there is a learning curve that I am going through. Called the company and received outstanding customer service including tips. Frankly that is a rarity now a days.The package came well packed with instructions. Also, they have a YouTube channel and many other vids online made by others explaining how to use. So do not be afraid to purchase if you are new to glass cutting like me. If you have the experience then this system is plug & play.

The cutter attachment really sucks. The tip doesn't score cleanly - it either scores too lightly or chips the glass along the score mark with picture frame glass. A good handheld glass cutter without this issue costs $20 so I'm unimpressed given how expensive this kit is.Otherwise the grid, the stops, the ruler, etc it's all great.
