Great Headtorch - Ignore the other reviews!
Not sure why this head torch has so many bad reviews, its bloody fantastic.. I use it for trail running and the max brightness burst mode makes technical downhill running in the dark a breeze. Battery lasts a decent amount and having the battery on the back means the weight is nice and balanced. Half the price of the silva equivalents as well.- just get it !

Brightness and that it works correctly
Great torch when working, but after a few months there’s a dodgy wire in the torch. It turns on on its own and doesn’t do what you expect it to do when pressing the on off button. Save ya money or buy a known brand or just get a cheaper one

Avoid
Arrived with clear instructions and well packaged.Checked item was working after a full charge. The next day the torch would not work at all as the battery had drained overnight. It would not recharge and would only work when connected to mains or power bank.Disposed of packaging so could not return.

Headlamp
Lasted only 2 weeks before the light switch broken. Terrible quality don't waste your money

Flawed
Two main issues:The main on/ off switch broke after not being misused at all. Before this, it was good but I could never get a secure fit - the headlamp would always fall down while running. Finally, the switching between modes/ adjusting settings is complicated and unintuitive. The only good things about it before it broke were the brightness and battery life.

Produkt gut - Lieferant Flopp

Great Head Lamp for Night Trail Running
Being an avid runner who typically run 10 miles per day (about half on the road and the other on various trails around the neighborhood) in SoCal, the recent heatwave got me thinking that I have to run at night to avoid driving myself to utter exhaustion. So, I did some research in running magazines and sites and the BioLite head lamps consistently appeared as being a good option. I decided to get the HeadLamp 200 for road running and the HeadLamp 750 for the trails and they are both working out really great. I know I'll put these to good use as well during the winter when the days are much shorter.Running the trails at night is definitely a challenge and I know I needed a powerful head lamp but it couldn't be too heavy or bulky to affect such a demanding physical activity. It was a little spooky at first running into pitch black darkness of the mountain trails but I got used to it pretty fast after a few runs and it's actually very fun. The HeadLamp 750 is very powerful and provides plenty of light for near vicinity as well as further ahead so I can see what's ahead up to around 50 yards clearly. I do have to look up and down regularly to make sure I get good footing as well as seeing what's ahead, so that's the challenging part of running at night but that's still better than running in 90+ degree heat! The 750 is twice as heavy as the 200 but the weight is evenly distributed between the lamp and the battery pack in the back and is fairly comfortable and stays well put even during fast and twisting runs through the trails. I'm very happy with it but I also have the Petzl Swift RL coming and will see how that compares to the BioLite 750. I'm hooked on night running now as there's an eerie calmness to it that one just can't get with "normal" day running. Not having to run about the sun setting early during the winter will be nice too. I should have thought about head lamps earlier. It was this dreadful heatwave that prompted me to look into a way to keep running. It's still hot during the nights with the temperatures in the low-80's but it's certainly heckuva lot better than running in the sun in the 90's. I highly recommend the BioLite head lamps to avid runners who need the flexibility in their schedules to be able to run during the night or very early morning hours.

'No Bounce' is not true
It's heavy, and bounces, and slips off the head even at the smallest possible headband size. Not good. returned

Well made Lamp
Glad I did my research. These are the best I’ve found. Comfortable and the perfect light beam.

Amazing headlamp
I bought this for my boyfriend as we walk a ton at night with our dog in the woods. This headlamp has an exceptional battery life. The fit is comfortable for his head or mine. The range and diameter is wonderful. It's the next best thing to walking in daylight on high setting.
