This is the second everflo pump I have purchased, the first pump lasted a couple years of light use, there are much cheaper pumps but I stuck with what I knew. With the new pump I only used it a couple short times and noticed a lot of leakage from the head. Unlucky for me I missed the product return window. If I used the pump regularly I would have noticed the leak and sent it back earlier. I have attached a photo of the leak. The head screws are tight. I hope this helps.

Have one that's been in a work truck for 5 years, these things just keep kicking. I'm sure ours has on numerous occasions been run dry for numerous hours straight, been frozen solid and in turn heated more than it needed to be to thaw and it just keeps kicking. Has been feeding 100' of 5/8 garden hose every work day, moving on average 50 gallons/day for the last 5 years.

Arrived with a cracked outlet, making it useless. By the time I got around to using it, the refund window has already closed. Check upon arrival else you may be stuck with a defective unit, like me
