Works perfect for helping my grandson learn to tell time. It was smaller than I expected but I’m sire the measures were in the listing. I just didn’t pay attention.

My daughter's were both learning about time and this was a great resource. Not expensive, compact and all the components are really durable. The three tone paint colors help with the visuals of hands and minutes. Easy to use anywhere. Worked great for hands on learning.

The clock doesn’t work like I thought it would. I didn’t understand the hour and minute hands did not work independently of each other. It’s geared together, so when the minute hand moves, the hour hand moves with it. I wanted to use it to set the time a medication was taken to help keep up with next dose needed. You can move the minute hand until it gets to the time you need on the hour hand, and then hold the hour hand (with your thumb) and turn the minute hand til it reaches the minutes time you need. It’s a very slow process getting there, since the hands don’t work independently of each other. But it’s doable. It’s just not what I was expecting, I didn’t understand the mechanical gear description. And you can’t loosen the screw, I thought of that but don’t try that. For $3.95, it’s not worth a trip anywhere to return it.

This is much smaller than the picture and more for a toddler or day care to teach a child how to tell time other than reading a digital clock.

"What time is it?" The little asks umpteen times a day. With this time helper we can carry it wherever we go and show them exactly what time it is.

My little one kept asking how much longer until we left to go do something and several times of this happening I decided to get this clock and it’s done wonders for her. I simple set it to the time we are leaving under our big clock and now she knows instead of asking 1,000 times “is it time yet mom” she goes and looks at her clock then checks the big clock and if they match it’s time to go.

My lo is in online school, she was learning to read a clock and she is a very visual person. I bought this so she can copy the time with her lesson to make it easier for her. It's great for the price and has helped alot.
