Long Handle J Roller with Thick Rubber Roller for Veneer & Laminate

I've used this twice, to roll laminate sheets onto mdf or plywood, and I was very pleased. Without a handle above the wheel, some users may feel awkward trying to roll with intense pressure, but the grip on this is so solid that one hand will probably do the job.

Works as it should. It’s a roller, and it did not leave marks on my white felt acoustic panels, so that’s why this item gets all 5 stars.

I use this with a lot of force and weight on it to adhere evenly hot glue on archival work I do in restoring 100-year-old maps. I purchased another brand on Amazon that was highly rated and had a small handle but it broke right at the contact points for the roller on one side within a month. If you want heavy duty this is excellent and the material the roller is made of is very easy to clean because I get hot glue on it and it doesn't stick to it it's easy to clean it off.

Very good roller, smooth rolling action, rubber wheel is nice and wide and has good press on roof sheathing tape. The only negative is the rubber grip being in two parts, the top rubber grip keeps pushing upwards on the curve, they should of just made it one single grip. But apart from that the roller is excellent, good length, solid, heavy duty.

This roller is so easy to use!! I was installing peel n stick tile on backsplash & really helped me adhere corners to edges & each corner to corner match. When I was using to hang regular wallpaper it was a snap to roll edges together & helped with the bottom edge at wood trim!!! Highly recommend this tool!!!

It's a j-roller for pressing out veneer or laminate.. or at least that's how I use it. It is very well designed and built. Very sturdy with a nice quality rubber roller. The roller does pick up dust, but a smooth rubber tends to not last and becomes sticky over time. This will last I think. Some complaints about the rubber coating on the handle sliding.. Yes it does do that, but I'd think by design so you could move it to where it best suits your needs. Good product, and I'd almost consider buying a backup because it seems like a product you would have bought years ago, unlike today's super lightweight crap... it's a nice roller!!

If anything, it's more rugged than I expected (almost a little too heavy -- a good problem to have for this kind of thing). The roller material is *hard* rubber, almost no squishiness when you use it. Spins very freely, feels like it would last a life-time. The roller width is only 2 inches; in retrospect I would probably want something just a little wider so that whatever I was working on would require fewer passes. On the other hand, if you need something small but very, very sturdy, then this is a perfect fit.

Perfect for gluing up laminates.

Nice and hefty. I thought this roller would be bigger but, it works great as it is. I returned the one I bought at HD which was twice the price.
