Liquitex Professional Modeling Paste Medium is a premium 16-oz acrylic gel paste made from marble dust and 100% polymer emulsion. Designed for artists seeking to create heavy textures and three-dimensional effects, it dries to a hard, stone-like finish that can be sanded or carved. Its slow drying time allows for extended manipulation, and it adheres to any non-oily absorbent surface. Compatible with acrylic and oil paints, this non-toxic, water-resistant medium is perfect for professional-grade sculptural and mixed media artwork.

Fantastic texture medium—worth the splurge if you need quality
Liquitex Modeling Paste is a high-quality, professional-grade medium that delivers excellent texture, sculptability, and durability. It’s a go-to for serious artists, crafters, and modelmakers. However, if you’re budget-conscious or working on lightweight substrates, consider the Light or Flexible versions—or accept the price for premium results. Pro Tip: Keep the lid airtight and use palette knives or offset tools for best application. Let each layer dry partially before adding more to avoid shrinkage.

i am daily user of it but switching
hi i bought this product second time but this time sealed was opened. this makes me worry to the fact that it might be used. but really i won't expect the same again. But i have no time to replace it so i used it readily. this Gel medium is used for image transfer and it gives a translucent effect to the color but modeling paste is better if you are looking for spatula work or some 3D effect to color. i shall be shifting soon to impasto medium of that Daler Rowney , modeling paste of liquitex unless you are doing image transfer. modeling paste is better for impasto or de kooning like texture because it gives a flexibility.

It's Liquitex
Product: Nothing can go wrong with this product. Have been using it for years and will continue to do so! Excellent consistency! Delivery: With the lockdown in my city and me running out of my stock at the wrong time in the middle of a painting was a panic attack. Had it ordered immediately from "Himalaya Stationery Store", one of the best delivery experiences ever! They shipped it overnight via FedEx and I got it within a day even under given circumstances. Hats off!
