This is perfect for beginners and intermediate players. My wife and I just started playing and had a cheap checker board/chess/backgammon board and found we wanted to step up to something nice without going too expensive. This hit the mark perfectly for us. Very nice size and substantial checker weight. We ordered it yesterday and it was delivered today. We played a couple of matches and we are very happy with this. It was a great price and appears to be well made. It came with all of the necessary instructions and dice. Nice safe bottom that won't scratch the dining room table. We are very happy with this product.

Perfect size, nice quality
Used to play this in college all the time and was looking for a board game my wife could enjoy evenings and rainy days. This fits the bill perfectly. Love the size.

It's $40
It's $40 feels cheap, looks nice, most of the pieces don't stay in place so if you close it and it rummages around even a little bit most of them just go everywhere they did send some extra pieces which was nice should have ponyed up and got a little bit of a better brand. But as stability not very good and as quality not very good as well sorry but again it's $40
