Its a book for common men
The book 'Retirement Planning-A simple guide for individuals' is well written and easy to understand. I think the author laid out a comprehensive alternative plan for retirement, which is suitable to everybody. Early retirement plan makes us handsome gain well in time, what the author has rightly explained? I learned so much about planning for pre-retirement and post retirement, Products such as: NPS, PPF, Debt Mutual Fund, Liquid fund, gold fund and also pension. The book also explained with suitable examples in respect to risk and returns of mutual fund, market returns, market behavior, and impact of inflation, taxes, insurance, estate planning and more. After reading that part of the book 'what I spent for the cost of the book is immaterial for me. It gives me full satisfaction, as financial advisor now-a-days misguided and induces to sell their products indirectly and takes huge fee. The author very nicely explains the expense ratio and impact of it on return also. I think every one should purchase and read the book at least once in his/ her life time.
