Very nice
The jacket is true to the pic, color wise and appearance. Material is very nice, it is quilted /puffer and full but not too bulky and thick. It is warm, the zip up and down front zipper is nice for ease of getting in and out of the car. I am 5’8 and it hits me mid shin give or take, definitely below my knee. I would say it runs big. I normally wear a L and I get XL sometimes for winter jackets bc of bulky clothes. I followed the sizing chart and got a L and it fits well w room, not snug w winter clothes. Front pockets are a little odd at first. Hands go in almost like a muffin and then drops down into a deep pocket. I have a long torso and find standard clothing waist hit me higher in my rib cage area, so it may be just the fit on me. But I got use to it quickly and doesn’t seem to be “off” in location as much as it was when I first got it. I advise to follow the size chart and don’t worry if in between sizes bc it does run a little big. The zippers on the side expand the jacket a little on both sides, it is not a slit. Like an expandable luggage, material stays intact, not an open slit. Which is a nice option if walking up steep steps since the jacket is so long. But after wearing it, I haven’t needed it, it isn’t leg retraining w the long length. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. I highly recommend this coat. Quality is good and I feel like I got my moneys worth

Amazing coat and amazing customer service
We live in Utah on the edge of a small mountain and it gets bitter cold during the winter. I was looking for a coat that was perfect for keeping me warm and also one that I could invest in that was ready-to-wear at my normal-size, or when I was pregnant or when I was baby-wearing. This coat is amazing for all three different life-seasons. The extra zippers on the side meant I could wear it into my final month of pregnancy. Then I could wear a babyholder and still zip up the coat. And now I’ve rezipped the sides and I’m nearly back to my pre-pregnancy size chasing around my toddler and the coat still fits well in a classy-big-vibe sort of way (doesn’t look too baggy). I also have to say I really appreciate this companies customer service. The first coat I received from them had a button that popped off and feathers kept sneaking out. I sent them a picture and they sent me a new coat to make the mishap right. I don’t typically spend this much on outerwear so I really appreciated that the company made sure to fix the problem so quickly and with so much thought. The new coat they sent has lasted well through 2.5 years of use so far (skiing, lots of daily use chasing kiddos and sledding too) and I’m estimating it’ll easily go another 2+ years.

Stylish, comfortable and warm long coat
Love it! True to size and so comfortable! The pockets are deep, and good for hands, once you get used to how high they start. The style is flattering and I how how warm it is for a lighter weight jacket.

Very warm, size down.
How would an Orolay coat $140 from Amazon do in the cold against well known brands such as North Face Arctic Parka $350, Columbia Icelandite ll Parka $280? Both coats are advertise as warm coats for very cold weather. Here are my results when it comes to WARMTH for “freezing” temp. I stood outside at night 30 deg with a wind chill factor around 20 degrees, on a very windy night, wearing a thin long sleeve jersey underneath. 15 min with each coat. No walking just standing. No hat. No gloves. No scarf. North Face - I was cold. Columbia did great. I felt a slightly chill by the 10 min mark. I think with gloves, hat and a sweater beating the cold would not be a problem. Keep in mind I wasn’t walking so I wasn’t producing any of my own heat. Columbia coat reach down to thighs. Orolay, to my surprise keep me much warmer. I could easily stand in the cold much longer with the Orolay. If I had to stay in below freezing temperature, I would grab the Orolay coat over the Columbia. I love that the Orolay is much longer, reaching just past my knee. So the top part of my legs were protected and warm against the wind. Because the coat is much longer it protects most of my body from the cold. Both coats are very thin and very light. Orolay was much lighter but also much puffier. But to Orolay defense it’s a style “Puffer Coat”. Which is ok, but for someone my age and weight it makes me look slightly chunkier than what I am. Here’s the problems with Orolay. The “white” is more of linen color than a true white. I normally fit a large. Orolay large was just way too big. On the medium size, the shoulder ok but stomach area & chest still too loose. With the loose fit, the puffiness, and color it just didn’t compliment my body. The placement of pockets are just below the chest and extends down to waist, which is kind of awkward if you like to walk with your hands in your pockets. You can’t store gloves in those pockets because it would look like 2 huge bumps. To my surprise it’s possible to get a warm coat without spending $$$. Orolay is an incredible warmer coat than the name brands and so light weight and thin, but I would wait for the price to go down because the fit and look was not great on me. Size down. Durability is very good. There no lining but very comfortable. I’ll try the black Med next. Hopefully it fits and looks better on me. I took 1 star away because it’s just too big. But definitely get this if you want a very warm coat in freezing weather without over spending. Hope this helps.

Fantastic coat was pleasantly surprised
absolutely love this coat. I never thought I would find a coat of this quality on Amazon for $75. It is so warm the length is perfect and I love how it zips up the side so when I go to get my car, I unzip it and I get my car easy. Absolutely love the color and I love the white down the sides would highly recommend.

Lightweight, Comfortable, and Warm
I bought this coat hoping it would keep me warm in the winter—and it absolutely delivered. It’s not the most fashionable jacket out there, but functionally it does the job really well. I’ve worn it in single-digit temperatures and stayed warm, and it also kept me dry on rainy/snowy days. What surprised me most is how lightweight it feels. It’s spacious and easy to move in, so I never felt like I was dragging around a bulky comforter, even though it’s incredibly soft—almost like a down comforter. I’ve been wearing it every day for about a month and it’s holding up great so far. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to how it looks after the first wash, but based on performance so far I’m really happy with it.
