This is easy to use and easy to pack for travel. It boils water quickly and is a fabulous price for what you get!

We got this so we can make coffee when on the road, so many hotels now have keurig coffee machines which makes it less then idea to make tea or french press coffee in the room. This kettle folds up very nicely and handle folds conveniently out of the way so that it takes up very little room in luggage. Easy to unfold and lock handle in place. Make sure the lid aligns via the arrow indicator so that it pours out easily when water boils. Do this before the water boils!!!! Otherwise you will burn your fingers trying to adjust after the fact! The water heats up fast and the kettle is stable enough. However, the device gets very hot. Don't touch the top when pouring, as you will burn your fingers. Don't touch any of the silicon parts when water boils. The kettle is stable enough if you lock the handle in place properly and the lead seals so that you don't have to worry about water spilling all over the place. Obviously this is not as good as a home kettle, but for use on the road it really does a nice job!!

The delicate bracket that holds the handle broke on the 2nd use. Without the bracket there is a significant burn risk, so the item is no longer useable. Amazon says there is only a one month return window. So, buyer beware. In concept, the teapot seems to be great - packs small, heats fast, etc. But this is a design flaw, not a manufacturing defect, so every unit has this risk of failure. Edit: I tried contacting Amazon about this issue and they put me in touch with the seller. After looking at a picture of the break, the seller CHEERFULLY and PROMPTLY replaced the product. Very impressive, and not the story you hear much in Amazon reviews. There are other similar products out there. I like this one because it heats fast, has a decent auto shutoff, and has a slimmer profile when stored. The bottom handle attachment is a little delicate, but if you study it to understand how it works and don't overstress it, it should hold up just fine.

Got this for my husband for when he's in the field or camping. It boils very quickly, and folds back into its travel bag well.

I spend half my life in hotels and got this for coffee and easy meals. Handle broke within first week, hey it’s still working and it’s just hard to hold but I can use a towel so I don’t burn myself. Third week it stopped working altogether, sending it back and buying something that’s not so cheap

This is my second collapsing tea kettle, the first with the heater built in. It works really well and stores in a small bag. It heats water in record time, even in cold weather and will even keep it warm by turning back on if the water is cooling. My only complaint is that you have to assemble it each time you use it, if you want to put it back in the bag, because the handle and the plug have to come off in order to fit it in the bag. Because this is aggravating before I’ve had my caffeine fix, I leave it out the night before so it’s ready to go. Somehow after I’ve had some tea, it’s not so bad taking it apart. :)

Gets hot really fast a steam then erupts and bowls over no matter how low the water line. Otherwise gets the job done fast just in case the light goes out. Maybe make it larger not sure why the water bowls over that fast.

Excellent travel kettle. Tiny in its collapsed position, easy to use, super fast boil. Highly recommended.

I really like how compact and flat it gets. I just don't understand why the handle was so needlessly complicated to assemble every time. I'm pretty sure they could've just made the handle twist upwards with a simple locking mechanism rather than removing the whole handle every time to set it up. Uses about 700W, so it's usable with more compact power stations that have smaller 800W inverters.

I have to go away a few times this year because of work. The hotel I have to stay is in the middle of nowhere plus the fact I have a few food intolerances, this kettle makes it easy to make my own breakfast and coffee in the hotel room. Works well, packs small. Love it!

Love that this is so light and compact, works well. I haven’t traveled internationally yet, so unsure how it works with different voltage, but love it so far traveling within Canada. I like to bring my own kettle because you never know if the place you stay will provide one or not and hate constantly having to ask and get them to track one down - some don’t. A small thing, but this eliminates some of the stress of travel.

Heats up super fast. We were so impressed. Compact. Carrried in my carry on to Europe. 100% worth every penny. Boil with lid off. Boils so quickly and water bubbles forcefully.
