Huge Crickets that most of my reptiles like
I have a bearded dragon, several leopard geckos and a African bull frog that can eat crickets, All but the geckos like these. But my Geckos are abnormally picky just in general, so it might be a different story for someone else's. My bearded dragon doesn't get as exited as he does with live crickets, but he eats them if you leave him to it for a bit and they do in a pinch, same thing with my Frog. The smell is honestly really gross, smells really musty, and like old olive oil and, well, like dead baked bugs, but I have had no problems with any mold yet or anything like some people have said on here. Just to be safe, if you plan to open a can, use it up in a week. If you don't open it at all it should be fine to store and keep for emergencies like I plan to do. The cans are rather surprisingly small but every single cricket in there was whole, large and plump. One can was enough for 3 or 4 feedings with my adult bearded dragon (along with his greens), so it's not too bad. Wish the cans were just a bit bigger but it's a enough good value for what you're getting compared to competing brands that do the same thing. Other than the off-putting smell, I rate it 5/5 stars.

Best quality and ease...use it, you will ask why did you wait to try it!
This, hands down, makes feeding so much easier and cleaner BUT I previously tried a different brand and thought to check out the Zoo Med brand. Wowza, who knew there was a difference in quality for canned crickets. The other brand was bits of this, that and the other thing but the Zoo Med is whole, plump crickets and our bearded dragon was in heaven. First, use canned crickets, they will save you time, trouble, and mess; Second, only use this brand. Does not get any better. BTW I never thought I would be compelled to write a review on canned crickets, but this brand deserves the praise!!

Dragon likes them
Bearded dragon loves them but boy do these things smell horrible. I even bought an air purifier to help with the smell. I don't use daily due to the smell but nice to keep on hand for when we run out of live crickets.

Never thought my Lizard would love dead crickets...
My giant plated lizard's diet mainly consists of live mealworms. It can sometimes be a pain to constantly dig around in the container for mealworms and they are also dryer than other insects. Live crickets are terrible because they aren't just noisy but they really stink. I decided to give these canned crickets a shot to mix with mealworms and I truly found a perfect solution. I would have never thought she'd love... Dead crickets, as silly as it sounds. She literally can't resist and they are much easier to feed than having to dig for mealworms, let alone buy a container of live mealworms just to dig up half the batch all dead and dried up. As far as nutrition info goes, they are also very healthy for reptiles. I truly found a winner and may just stick with these Can o Crickets. Will definitely buy again!

Drop in quality is very noticeable
The quality of this product has dropped. The food was of poor quality and half of the volume was legs and parts, which don’t get eaten.Had been buying regularly for over a year.

Zoomed > Fluker’s
Luckily, I cane here before using the ones from Flukers. I first started using Fluker’s grasshoppers with my beardie, but they weren’t something I wanted to continue using, as the quality was very low. Seeing this deal for the crickets, I ordered these and never wanted to go back. In between orders, I tried Fluker’s crickets and threw them out soon after. For starters, these crickets don’t have a very bad smell and it never bothered me, whereas Fluker’s crickets almost made me puke every time I opened the can. They also come as a whole insect, where Fluker’s are in pieces. I also noticed that you get exactly what you wanted with these crickets. Upon opening Fluker’s, I found numerous snails within the can and an odd substance on top.Overall, I would highly recommend these for anyone that wants a cheaper alternative to live crickets. However, try to provide live ones as an occasional treat so they get exercise.

My chickens loved these!!
This is the first time buying something like this. I am new to the poultry parent thing and was looking for protein sources for my chicks since free-range food sources are becoming scarce due to the change of seasons. I opened the can expecting a hideous smell, but there was none! I also expected to be grossed out by the look of them, but it was just decently-sized dead crickets. They didn't look yucky and as I said, they didn't smell nasty at all. I put them in my chicks feeding dish and with zero exaggeration, the five chicks scarfed up the three cans of crickets in five minutes. I will probably buy these again and offer them as a weekly treat.

Why did Zoo Med change these! Drop in quality is terrible...
I'm so bummed..... I have been feeding these to my beardies for six years now. These were always full canns of large crickets with the occasional loose leg. The last shipment the can has changed and now comes with a hinged spoon which is NOT an improvement and the can was filled with mixed sized crickets and they looked lower quality. I'm not tasting any of them to compare (lol) but the difference is visible and my beardies is not impressed. She doesn't like them as much. This sucks because it's her staple food! They are also pretty expensive at 16 bucks for 3 cans. So I am disappointed in this sudden drop in quality. If anyone from Zoo Med reads this review - I would seriously hope you read it and address the issues. I'm paying for a can of large whole crickets - not some large crickets and then a bunch of smaller ones and dismembered legs and parts. You had these right for years! Go back to the old packaging, the old spoon, and the old standard quality of crickets! PLEASE!!!!

Mold and water
I paid for dried crickets and I ended up with cans of moldy, crickets and watery crickets. I didn't know that dried crickets contain water in the can. My chickens won't eat these. Don't waste your money.

Buen producto
