I installed this today and it's running great so far
I installed this today and it's running great so far. Very quiet fan. Prior to this I had a Coolmax 900W ZU series power supply, but it died on me after 3 to 4 years of use. When that happened, I thought it was time for me to upgrade my system. I wanted to have four graphics cards to use for rendering 3D stuff, so I needed more juice from the power supply. That's why I chose this Coolmax 1600W. I bought a GTX Titan X on Ebay -- just one as I couldn't afford buying all four. And I installed it today together with my old graphics card -- the Nvidia GTX 660 Ti. They're both powered by this PSU through its modular PCI-E cables.

IT IS MUCH BETTER AS A PAPERWEIGHT THAN A POWER SUPPLY
This thing is totally unreliable. Do not buy it.If you do buy and use it for a few months until it does not work and you can no longer return it then just throw it away, and try not to think about it.But think about it enough to remember to NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM COOLMAX.

Does the job
Bought this as a gift for my husband and he doesn't do reviews. He hasn't been complaining so I assume it works.

Great cheap power. strong performer.
This is my second and preforms just as well as first. Have them running full load pushing 3 x 7990s mining vertcoin all day long in the 90f room. They don't skip a beat had the first for almost a year now amd built another rig.Only down side to this product is finding it in stock.

Stay away from coolmax. This PSU is horrible
Ran this PSU for about a month stable conditions....one day it just quit on me. Internals smell burnt. I'm dealing with the company right now with trying to get it replaced. I will update late on outcome.

I've heard a lot good things about it
It's a value high-end power supply, not only my experience, but also I've heard a lot good things about it. Compare with other 1600w models in the market, this one has the top quality and lower price. It has 5 years manufacturer warranty, with protection of OCP/ OVP/ SCP/ OPP/ OTP, support NVIDIA SLI or ATI CrossFire system; and user friendly, include full range cable connections and attachments. Coolmax has excellent customer support, not that I needed. but good to have it. One of my customers had a burnt cable by misusing it, called Coolmax up, they shipped a new replacement cable to him. Being working in computer industry for many years, I know what is good products and services
