MagLite ML300L LED 2-Cell D Display Box

This is a high quality flashlight. The beam is SO much brighter than the incandescent versions of days gone by. I bought this because I knew I could count on MagLite to produce a quality product that I don't have to wonder about. There are a number of cheaper flashlights out there that claim more luminance, but long term quality is questionable, and the luminance numbers may or may not reflect their actual capability.When i received this, it was in a "display box", which is ok with me because it was so much easier to open than the blister packs. One thing to note was that there was nothing on the outside of the box to indicate the color of the flashlight inside, so at first I was not sure if I received a black one, when I ordered red. No worries, though, because it was actually red. I really like the red finish, because it is very easy to spot when I've set it down somewhere.I tried out the light as soon as I could. Indoors, it was very bright, and I could see very clearly, although it wasn't blindingly bright. Outdoors, I could easily shine a beam from my house to the trees about 150 feet away. I wish that the beam had the ability to be more concentrated, like a search light.It has some interesting modes. As the description says, it is programmable so that if you rapidly click the button two or three times when you turn it on, it can respond in different ways. You can choose from one of three different programs. the programs incorporate different features like High/Low brightness, strobing, or momentary on (as long as you hold the button). After trying them all, I found I have no need for the strobing (it's mainly for disorienting bad guys), and the momentary was cool but not necessary, so I just left it on the default setting, which is the High/Low Intensity. With this setting, the high intensity comes on with the first click, and low with the second. If you pause for any amount of time at all between the clicks though, the button works as the "off" instead of moving to the next setting. That's still not really a problem for me, though, because I usually only use the "High" setting, which is first. Low is nice when you need a little less light, but it is still fairly bright, brighter than the incandescents of the past.I do like that even though it is efficient, it still uses D-cells, so the batteries will last a long time, and no more worries about the bulb burning out!All things considered, though, it is a top-quality flashlight that will last for years, and will easily meet my needs. (I mainly need it to find stuff in my yard at night, which is about 3 acres. I can see just about anywhere from the house. I would recommend this to anyone.

The media could not be loaded. Even though this may not be my brightest flashlight, its been the most reliable. I've got flashlights that will light up at over half a mile (1km), or outshine the LED high beams on my car, but I still choose this one because I always know it will work.There's essentially three ways you can twist the light to get a different beam pattern. One, you have a hotspot and a little bit of a flood. Next, you have a relatively wider beam and a little bit of a flood. Last, you have a hotspot that has a brighter ring around it and a bit of a flood. That one has the bright part illuminating a lot of area. See video for visualization.Its bright enough that you can look around when youre walking, but battery efficient enough that it lasts for hours and hours.As a bonus, it can be used as a blunt weapon. I dropped it on my floor from about 4 feet or so and it didn't even scuff the finish on the light.Definitely recommend for anyone who needs a quality flashlight that they can depend on.

This thing is super bright, and has low brightness modes. It also has other modes where it can blink and do some other things. I highly recommend.

Maglight never disappoints! This light is bright! I like the 3 settings for battery conservation. The low setting is still sufficient to light your way.

My wife has had an identical light (same model and color) for many years, and has always carried it in her car for emergencies. She finally needed to replace it (due to battery corrosion) and I was very pleased to find this was still available. As always with Amazon, the order was handled very promptly and the delivery was fast. All good.

I have always had several mag lites and really like the better illumination of the new (expensive) LED versions. My others have always been 3 or 4 battery lights so this is my first smaller 2 battery version.The illumination is ok but there is no broad peripheral-only option - the annoying bullet-spotlight is ever-present.If you want general illumination, pick a different version.

I intend to use this for emergency backup lighting. It is large and heavy enough to not get lost. I can use this to find the big 6 cell MAGLITE, and use both of these to find and set up the rest of the gear. Both of the MAGLITEs work well using the 10,000 mAH rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride cells. The very long run time in economy mode is outstanding.

It’s a mag light they all are fantastic and virtually bulletproof waterproof batteries last forever comes to the extra bulb we have several and I know they’ll outlast me lol. Highly recommend

Ich kenne schon die MagLites mit Glühbirnen in allen Größen.Doch das hier ist meine erste mit LED.Die Helligkeit ist einfach brutal! Ich warne definitiv davor, in die Lampe zu schauen!!!Und bitte niemanden absichtlich damit blenden!Die Bedienung mit den vier Programm-Modi ist gut durchdacht, und der Taster ist sehr hochwertig gestaltet.Aber es gibt auch zwei Negativ-Punkte:Wie schon immer ist die Scheibe vorn auf dem Reflektor aus Kunststoff, der Staub und Fusseln wie ein Magnet anzieht.Und die Vorspannung der Feder im Batteriedeckel ist brutal hoch.Man braucht also ziemlich viel Kraft um den aufzuschrauben, aber gleichzeitig viel Fingerspitzengefühl für das da verwendete Feingewinde...Für die Langlebigkeit habe ich den Mittelwert gewählt, weil ich darüber ja noch nichts belastbares sagen kann.

linterna Maglite con led de 3º generación. funciona con solo dos pilas tipo D alcalinas o mejor recargables de NiMH de alta capacidad a ser posible, así tendras un deposito de energia grande a tu disposicion .Estas pilas las puedes comprar en cualquier lugar, no hay que acudir a lugares espacializados. La luz que produce tiene tres niveles bajo , medio y alto, es una magnifica luz blanco neutro. El tamaño de la linterna no es muy grande y se maneja con facilidad. Estas linternas de 3º generacion son todo un acierto de maglite.
