How does this compare to Rem Oil spray?

I’ve used both, and hoppes oil seems a little bit thicker than rem oil. Maybe just a tad more heavy weight.

Can I use this to oil a typewriter?

I think you can. It’s just a light weight oil.

Can this oil works on auto parts such such bushings? i have a squeaking noise but bushings seems to be ok.just wonder about impact on rubber & metal

It won't be durable enough for automotive bushings. Maybe for door, hood, and trunk hinges. It's just mineral oil. You can buy it at a quarter the price in the health food section of your Kroger or if you want a nice smell you can get baby oil.

Easy to use and does the job

Sometimes either you need some oil that will get in between things or that will cover the surface. This spray is good for that. Does not spray too heavy of a coating or clump. Have trusted Hoppes for over 50 years.
