Flawed Design
Flawed design.I had two of the same French press and on both the beaker cracked from the top, around an area that seems to be stressed by the lock-in lid.

Terrible - cracked within 3 months
Used semi-regularly and glass cracked within 3 months. Do not buy.

This attempt at a lockable top has failed. It is difficult to assemble when making a brew, particularly fiddly to close when hot. And it dribbles coffee when pouring.Not a good buy, disappointing product from a usually good manufacturer, stick to plain types and not theses fancy failures.
