Playmobil Fairies with Toadstool House Building Kit

This is a very cute set. Purchased for my 3 and 5 year old daughters. There are many pieces to play with and it is very well made. The only thing that I wish was different was that the opening in the mushroom house was completely available for play. They have blocked off half of the “cave” with plastic so that it’s unusable. I don’t see the purpose of this as blocked off area is only a hollow space? Makes no sense. Other than that we’ve had it for a couple months now and it’s gets daily play.

Great value! My daughter received this for her 4th birthday and it has been keeping her busy! She combined it with her other Playmobil sets. It is super cute and very good quality as to be expected from Playmobil. Lots of small pieces, so keep it away from younger siblings!

Girl 4 birthday. It was the perfect gift for a Unicorn / Horse person. She has played with it for hours.

I loved the concept and the different characters and accessories included with the toy. The details were nice. For example, there were 3 characters, 3 unicorns and separate horns, gold balls, glitter, baskets, removable wings, a pond, detachable flowers, birds including owls, ducks and geese. So there were many parts. I bought it for my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter who, in my opinion, is too young to put it together by herself. So while she was enchanted with a number of the contents, it was more difficult to manage putting it together while allowing her to enjoy some of the characters. But what was really difficult to manage were the assembly directions. The parts to the leafless tree were incorrect, imo, for the version we have because the holes in the balls are much too small for the trees. The tress do not resemble the images in the directions and I went online and looked at another version of the kit from another vendor and figured out how the tree was supposed to be put together. But the worst of it is that there are 6-7 plastic bags, and as far as I could see, there was no organization to the parts (although the step are numbered in the directions). How much easier it would have been if they had packaged each item to correspond with the item as we progressed in assembling the toy. So you had all the parts out on the table and had to search and it took a good part of the afternoon yesterday and it's not even 1/2 done. I stewed a long time, and worked all the possibilities over and over, as did 2 other adults in the room before we all agreed that we had to wrong pieces for the tree. And we still have 2 pieces of the tree that look like reindeer antlers we don't know what to do with. Sighhhhh. I'm assuming the best, or an amicable compromise from me (and granddaughter) for the rest of it. I'm sure she'll love it.

A great Playmobil-this one has a minimum of building (which I never like in Playmobil because it doesn't seem designed to be taken apart multiple times). Anyway, this had about three big pieces that snapped together and that's it. Some glue and it's done. A cute, imaginative play set, my 7 year old daughter loved it. She liked the unicorn (with two babies!) as well.

I would give a higher review but this set has not been opened yet. It is am early purchase Christmas gift. I'm sure it will be loved!
