Silver Collectible Display Show Case Illumicase+ with LED Lights for 1/64 1/43 1/32 1/24 1/18 Scale Models

Put my ‘58 Buick model in the case and it really shows it off.

I’m very impressed with this case. It seems well made for the price, and the lights are nicely adjustable. I added a black mat on the base which makes the silver color sort of a frame around the model which looks nice. The clear plastic on mine looks good, with no scratches or obvious distortion. The whole case is very light weight, which may make it feel cheap to some, but I’m fine with that. My first impressions are overall very favorable. The instructions recommend not running the lights for more than 8 hours a day to prolong their life, so I used a remote control outlet to make it easy to turn on and off.

I purchased two silver base display cases. They arrived on time and well packaged. The lights wortk well and the clear covers are clear without haze or scratches. I was concerned about the silver base, but it looks very good and helps reflect the interior illumination. I have recommended it to two friends, both of whom also purchased the disiplay case. One arrived in good shape. The other arrived with a broken light pole and a scratch in the cover.If I were to make three suggestions:1. The company needs to improve their quality control.2. The company needs to make a 1/12 scale version.3. The company needs to a better on/off switch. Current one works ok, but the ergonomics are peculiar. You push it on/off but the display case moves.I am pleased and think the display case is a cut above its competitors. But I want more.Definitely will recommend it to my friends.

This is a neat concept if not expensive. I bit the proverbial bullet; and glad I did. It fit's the 1965 George Barris Batmobile with 2 batman and robin figurines, that I purchased on Amazon well. It can run off USB power or battery. The light produced is bright, and may be best place where they wont shine into to your eyes while seated watching TV or using the computer. Otherwise, once you can get over the price point, you'll like it as much as we do.

I loved the display case with LED lights, I was able to put my 1:18 scale collector vehicle and it looks pretty good. I recommend it!

Overall, the case is nice, and packaged well, but the quality of the case is just OK. I give it full marks for having a nice, working LED light post feature on each corner of the case. The silver finish of the base is OK, no scratch marks and the mold quality is decent. The clear plastic cover gets some negative points though. While packaged securely, there are hairline swirl scratches that may be polished out, or maybe if I could apply Future or some clear to fill in the scratches. The scratches are on the top and 2 sides of the case. Its not a dealbreaker as it does the job of covering my car from anything that may fall on it, but I will continue looking elsewhere for a future case. Also, I realized there are no notches on the sides of the plastic cover, so if you need to move the case around, don't pick it up just by the cover. I guess I only get what I paid for it. The car being displayed is an AUTOart 1/18 Mazda 787B LM. Its such a nice car model, so I will continue looking for a case that will suitably hold it. Cheers!

The case arrived undamaged with all parts present. The LED light poles are very simple plug-and-play into the display base. While the four individual LED lamp parts can be positioned at any angle, the light poles themselves are a fixed height. The display case has a USB port and comes with a micro USB cable. It can alternately run on 4 - AA batteries. I use rechargeable AA batteries in both of mine and like the look. Overall, it is a nice addition to any model collection and shows off the model inside very well.
