Carhartt Men's W.P. Waterproof Insulated Mittens

These mittens are INCREDIBLY warm! I wear them when biking in single digit temperatures and my fingers stay nice and cozy. The fleece lining is soft and quite comfortable. The gloves themselves have a good grip surface as well. All in all, an excellent pair of mittens for all-purpose cold-weather!

I purchased these for cycling after watching a cycling video suggesting mitts as a way to keep hands warm while cycling in the winter. My hands are colder than most of the cyclist I ride with and after trying numerous gloves on my own and of their suggestion (all pricey), these worked incredibly well. There is a bit of a dexterity adjustment for gear shifting but well worth it! I ordered a size up to have room enough for hand warmers if needed. Have not needed them so far.

The Carhartt Men's W.P. Waterproof Insulated Mitts boasts exceptional warmth. In low-activity situations or milder temperatures, they deliver snug comfort. However, when subjected to high-intensity activities, especially in extreme cold with hand warmers (like my experience with a recent -25°F country skiing), these mitts fall short. Their 100% impermeability to air renders them less breathable, causing moisture buildup. My hands perspired, and I had to periodically expose them for ventilation. For regular or sedentary use, these mitts offer affordability and functionality, but they may not be the ideal choice for vigorous, cold-weather activities.

They are amazing for snowboarding and keep your hands warm for hours.

When I first put them on inside the house, I was sure they would never keep my hands warm, particularly, my thumbs. Every other mitten or glove that I have tried failed to keep my thumbs warm in cold weather.These got a great test this morning when it was -5 with a wind chill of -22. I was out for about 40 minutes. Usually when I would come in after weather like that, my thumbs would be painfully numb. NOT WITH THESE MITTENS!!! They were comfortably cool. And the fingers and hands were toasty warm.I don't know yet how durable they will be but the seams look like they will hold well and the covering gives great gripping strength. Best mittens I have ever had.

Husband loves these mittens they do run small! Had to return and get a larger size for him. But comfortable and keeps his hands warm.

These are warm and comfortable, even at very low temperatures, however if the do get wet inside you will have a very hard time drying them because of the waterproofing material. And yes, eventually they will get wet inside and take a long, long time to dry out.

I bought these just in time for a -40°C cold snap and was SO thankful to have them. They fit well and are really cozy inside with warm polar fleece.I like that they have adjustable wrist straps to tighten them as needed, as well as a fleece cuff that extends up enough to reach my jacket sleeve so no cold/snow can get in. They were comfortable enough to wear when driving as well, as they're not overly bulky.Highly recommended!

Theses things are a great purchase, not the warmest they're a bit thin(still pretty warm) but more importantly they are fully water proof. Hands stay dry no matter how much water.

We live in one of the coldest places on Earth, and these mitts kept our hands and fingers warm all winter. Worth the price.
