In the past, I tried a well known product that was made from shrimp, crab, crayfish shells, all things I can eat without issue. My allergies are with mollusks including clams, mussels, and scallops. Well, I reacted with migraines so even though it was not listed as containing mollusks, they were present.After a bit of searching, I came across this product from Solgar. It is a tad pricey but it is absolutely worth the cost. The bottles are glass which is novel but the product itself does not give me any negative reaction. They are large pills but not powdery or ill-tasting on the way down, a bonus if swallowed improperly. They do not irritate my stomach. I take two daily in one dose, typically near a mealtime.So far, it seems to be reducing arthritic joint pain a bit. At least I haven't noticed things getting worse. The goal for these pills is to act more as a preventative than a cure; they don't have to make me better but I hope to prevent further degeneration. My first bottle was a month's supply and I just ordered a two-month supply to continue the regimen.
