Better than Cricut brand
I use my Cricuts a lot in my crafting business - I have 4 machines on the go all day (I know, time to buy a laser cutter, right?). So anything that speeds up my processes is very welcome. One of the problems I had with the Cricut mats is that when they're new, they're so sticky that the cut product doesn't want to come off the mat. I would have to remove them so carefully that it took forever. I would also have to bend the mat to encourage peeling, and after time, this bending caused the mat to snap along the most frequently cut lines. And when the mats are older, they're not sticky enough. I had to use a roller to apply the product to the mat to get firm enough adhesion and often, the product didn't stick firmly enough causing miscuts. These mats are different. Even when new, the product peels off beautifully in one action even when new. I still bend the mats but there is no sign of them failing. In fairness, because they peel easier, I don' have to bend them as much. And they're staying sticky longer than the Cricut ones used to. Because there's less handling, they're staying cleaner and gunk free. And hey, when they finally aren't sticky enough anymore, at this price, I can just get new ones instead of having to apply mat adhesive, which I am forced to do with the prohibitive cost of Cricut brand mats. For me these are a game changer and I've just ordered again. Highly recommended.

Disappointed with almost double price increase
I had planned on writing a good review for these boards which I used with my cricut maker but when you buy a set of 3 for £8.99 in March and go to reorder in August and see they are now £15.99, they are no longer worth the money! You may as well buy the own brand at that price and save the risk to your machine. Very disappointed.

Happy With Quality and Fair Cost
I have a set of both Cricut and these nicapa mats. The only difference I can really tell is the cost (Cricut being that much more). I was initially concerned that these wouldn't work as well because of the difference in price but I have had them for a while now without any issue. They both lose their stickiness over time the same and I clean them the same with the same results. In fact, if anything I find these keep their stickiness a little longer. I will continue to buy these as long as the cost of them doesn't shoot thru the roof like Cricut.

Excellent mats!
The reviews were so mixed and I had a time sensitive job to cut on my Cricut so really needed the mat to work! Anyway.. I have spent the day cutting away and it has been seamless! I had used the blue original Cricut mat for the first part of this job, but it ran out of sticky so I had to replace it urgently. I went for the green standard grip and it has held the 300g card perfectly! So thrilled with my gamble will def now switch to these

They work, but not for long
Pros: cheaper than the official mats for 3x the amountCons: Tolerances for the mat printing are not 100% - if you measure the distance between the top of the sheet and the line printing on the mat, it slips out on all the mats i've bought (9 or so now) by about 1-2mm. This means cuts are not accurate in the top left and bottom right corners during scan and cut. Cuts without scan are probably ok, but i don't do any of those.Costs: I got 22 full A4 cuts on a mat before the stick was not enough to hold 190gsm card stock - calculating this at 22p a cut cost (for light stick mat).Going to try the heavy stick mat to see if the costs work better

You get what you pay for
I have only given this mat 2 stars because of the following reasons.Although it is VERY adhesive I found that when I removed the glitter card stock from the green mat it cased the back on my cut out pieces to also become sticky which I did not want. When I removed the felt from the purple mat after about 4 uses the sticky ness has completely gone and I had to move to another area of the mat - I know these can be cleaned however no ideal when you are creating a order - I didn’t have to clean my Cricut mat as much. Also the mat has permanent outlines ( can see the white of the mat) on it - I had only had the cut set on default pressure. You do get what pay for - but I can get 2 Cricut mats for £16 in hobby craft.

The same as the Cricut ones
These are exactly the same as the Cricut ones I have only half the price. The adhesiveness is great and mine are well used. Saving money on the three means I can work them all at the same time, loading into the machine and prepping others whilst I am waiting as with Cricut you can’t do another project whilst one is cutting. I was apprehensive on these but I wouldn’t buy another Cricut one now

Absolutely awful
The media could not be loaded. Used the mat with card first time and the card got stuck so badly the mat is now useless to me. Got the second mat out and used something with a shiny back instead because I though that the first card I used may have been the problem. Sadly the same thing happened and everything I’ve made has been destroyed.
