Great tool for beginners, multi-taskers
I love crafting, and wanted a wood burner that was inexpensive, but better than what you can buy at a local craft store. This was perfect for me. It’s easy to use, came with a lot of tips and little extras, and not overpriced. I did research brands that are recommended by the pros, but decided to give this one a try. It warms up quickly, and so far I haven’t noticed any issues. I have used most of the tips, and they all work great. Any issues I thought I had with hot spots were actually due to the grain in the wood. The glove is useless for me because I have extremely small hands, and while the tool gets pretty hot, it isn’t painful unless you slip and hold it in a certain spot. I definitely recommend this for anyone interested in learning wood burning, or wanting a tool that does more than one task.

Bought this for smoothing my 3d prints
I was looking for the best bang for the buck soldering iron to smooth my fdm prints and this was perfect. It has a bunch of different tips that are useful plus with the added perk of being able to change the temp. The only thing is the temp is a little finicky but after a bit of use it gets easier.

it burns wood as advertised.purchased for a very artistic teen and she loves it. the variety of accessories open up whole realms of new artsy possibilities and was an excellent value

Doesn't last long before it dies on you
Well I really liked it and loved using it. But I have had it maybe 4&1/2 months and now it has stopped working. I love the cut off switch it's convenient. The temperature control is easy to use but as you are working it will change temperature because of your hand moving near it just bumping it will change it. As for letting a kid use it no it gets hot even on the handle piece.

Fail to work .
The wood burning tool never worked at all . My grandson never used the toll until I was able to ask a friend to help him. It’s now been over 30 days to be able to return it . Wasted money. I would not recommend this tool.
