I got these for my 4 year old for Christmas. He was absolutely thrilled. It was and still is a great way for his father and I to have bonding moments with him. He struggled a little with understanding you have to push the button to talk then release the button to hear a response. He eventually got the hang of it. After that, it was walkie talkie all day through the house. Here it is February, and this kid is still obsessed. I am amazed at how this product has held up since Christmas. My son has dropped all 3 SEVERAL times! He even spilled juice on one and it still works with no problems. I love how it has a strap you can attached. Definitely helps keep up with it. However, I will warn you that these talkies can get super loud. If you live in an apartment or duplex, I would suggest to be cautious about the volume button. My son would accidently hit the volume buttons instead of the talk button. I did have a neighbor complain once. To solve that we took it outside in the backyard a lot and gave the talkies a "bedtime" when we use them in the house. Other than the volume, I would recommend this product.

Returned the item - it was not what I expected.

Got it for my 6 yr old and he love to play with it. Quality of materials is good. It come with a tag to hang in neck. Didn’t check on range but works when I checked within house till letter box
