quick coffee
but the cup is much smaller than I expected. I usually need a larger cup of coffee in morning. it is real quick and easy to clean

Poor design, Messy!!
Poor pot design causes the spill of water and coffee all the time, and doesn't stop pouring the coffee when removing the pot, very messy!

Foreign plug, glass easily broken
I like the style of filter and the capacity, which is why I bought this model. But the product arrived and smelled like mold. We cleaned it and sent several rinses of water through it before using it. The plug is not an Indian, plug, but European, so we had to have a special adapter. But the major problem is that the glass pour spout likes to drip coffee all over counter while you pour your cup. The glass broke within the first month of use. I'm so disappointed. I spent a lot of money for this and should have returned it sooner. Now I will have to find something else and pay a second time.

Great little pot & 220 volts for Europe
I needed a 220 volt coffee maker for Europe, and this one fit the bill. It uses cone filters, so the filters are easy to find too. The basket filters are more difficult here in Europe for 4 cups. Hint: make sure that you line-up the filter 'tab' line with the groove in the filter holder to hold the filter securely. My wife didn't know this and just stuck it in incorrectly (or just did a very poor job in any case) . . . it made a big water mess, and the coffee was ruined. Also, there is a little spring valve that holds the coffee/water from entering into the pot when the pot is removed - a nice feature, but makes placing the pot tricky at times. After a few times, I found that placing the pot in at a very slight 'downward then upward scooping motion' helped.

The best machine in the market
Bought this a second time. Awesome the first one lasted a number of years. The spout on the Carafe is a little small- which causes a drip when pouring. Minor inconvenience.Advice for people who complain of weak coffee: Add more powder. This is filter coffee and not instant. Also if you want a good cup- grind the beans for only 2-3 days and refrigerate all.

Gets the job done
There aren't many coffee makers that are 220v and this was the only one I could find from a trusted company. It was for someone overseas but I did use it a few times. Its nothing fancy but gets the job done. Makes much less then 4 cups in one run, more like 2.5 cups. Coffee tastes okay, I've had better. If you can find another 220v machine from a better company then go for it but this was the only 4 cup I could find from a well known company.
