So... I have a 12yo stabrador who has seasonal allergies and can also get yeasty from certain foods. One thing she was having a lot of was sores in her feet, prescribed steriod cream but it got to the point that was needed quite often, despite me adjusting her diet. I just happened to come across an article regarding a dogs nose with sores and it looked like a zinc deficiency and the story struck a cord with me so I looked into it.I chose this particular supplement because it has zinc citrate which is more easily absorbed than the cheaper zinc oxide which appears just about everywhere. So I took a risk, gave it a try, keeping a very close eye to ensure she wasn't getting too much zinc and *touch wood* its actually helping. It cleared the sores on her feet (though I still have to keep my eye on them), and she actually has fur on her belly in April since she was 3 or 4yo as she'd usually get it growing over winter but as soon as spring arrived and the allergies started it would get rubbed/licked/chewed off. My vet points out there is no evidential proof these kinds of supps work, I appreciate that but until someone does a study to prove either way then to me thats a non-argument. I believe these have helped my old girl.I'll point out, however, that I'm not a vet or in that profession and I do believe zinc poisoning to be a real danger so its always a good idea to consult a vet before starting dogs on supps especially if they're already on meds.

The product arrived on time expected, I'm afraid I can't rate product at the moment due to just started with the product for my dog... the capsules are not easy to open so having to snip the plastic to get the powder out.. thank you.
