Good price for standard PLA filament for my XYZPrinting printer
This filament with its included, built in interface chip works perfectly in my XYZPrinting Da Vinci printer - since with their software it automatically sets the extruder temperature perfectly. Translucent filaments like this work better for some applications than the solid opaque colors have in my experience and are great for things like ocarinas that won't produce a note if you use the wrong filament for them. I got this filament for about half what I used to pay for the same roll, so it's a great deal too. Highly recommended, especially if you have an XYZPrinting printer designed for it!

Nice color
I love the color. I printed a lot of things with this green filament. Most of my prints come out fine, perfect and sometimes it doesn't. It doesn't come out as clean and smooth as the rest of the design. Maybe it's just me and not the filament. Like the glasses, I was making. It was nice and smooth until it come to almost the end, it starts to mess up.

Works with my Da Vinci Junior
So far this is my favorite filament for my Da Vinci Junior. There's only a limited number of colors available for the Jr right now (black, natural, yellow and green), and I'm liking the results I get with the green the best so far. My spool loaded just fine and prints well. Note that each of these spools of filament also come with a sensor chip that works with the printer. So be sure you change out that chip as well, when you load your new spool of filament. The photo I added to my review is a (working) duck call I made for my husband with my printer. To make this project I used the green PLA filament available in this listing, as well as black Da Vinci Junior PLA filament.

Hate the proprietary, but good plastic
It kind of sucks because of the RFID chip you are forced to use, but it is good plastic. It is the right type for the da vinci jr printer if that is what you are looking for.

The NFC chip that XYZ uses to force you to use their crappy PLA says that the spool is out when clearly there is more than half the roll still in the spool. Every spool that I have had so far has 10 - 30 meters of PLA left over that the printer will not use because of the NFC chip. XYZPrinting charges a lot for their low quality PLA and then the printer wont even use it all. Is this company for real? Anyway, I have tossed the printer (recycle bin) and will never buy anything from XYZprinting again.

I love that the spool lets me know when I will not be able to finish a project and need to change it out. The other great thing is the spools are never wrapped poorly I have yet to get a spool that is kinked or tangled! [email protected]

Still not a fan of the proprietary filament or the bar code telling my machine that it's empty when several meters remain on the spool, but the clear green stuff gets the job done fine. It's a little trickier than the black filament--use extra wide masking tape or else it'll blob up on your tape seams and possibly wreck your calibration.
