Self Tan Lotion for Fair Skin 8 oz

OK, for any of the "mature crowd", I'm 71, very fair skinned, with a few liver spots on my arms......I'm also a Vietnam War Vet with an Agent Orange exposure related blood disorder. I take a daily med that prohibits me from unprotected sun exposure. Over the years I've actually used a commercial liquid tanning product and my own equipment for replicating tanning parlors self-spray booths. While it was OK, the color was noticeably "orange-tone." So after my youngest daughter and grand daughter recommended this product, I ordered it, didn't use it until a couple weeks later. Ironically, they take after my "olive skinned beauty" of a Wife... (Brasilian) So our kids have great tans, but they like "MORE......" Also note I bought and am using the MEDIUM value product.But to my pleasant surprise, I found this product to be the best I've tried. It's a cream consistency, and comes in a pump plastic container. You do get gloves, which you'll want to use. I very sparingly pumped about 4 dime size dropson my lower leg, and rubbed it in using both hands. I then did the same for the upper leg area, and made sure to even out the solution as quickly as possible. The results are pretty much immediate, and I found that it didn't take much to get a consistent first-application. I should have done a before and after photo. The results are extremely good. The moderate first, and day later second application, absolutely took me from "blinding white" to "fair complected guy but must not noticeable in a crowd. Bottom line, added applications will darken the tone, but using this "for fair complexion" formula is absolutely, in my humble opinion, the best I've seen.

Ok, I'm WHITE WHITE WHITE. I don't like it, but it's the hand I've been dealt. My fellow Whities know how it is - the remarks and jeers at the pool, the beach, when we decide to wear shorts. "OH MY GOD! Get my my sunglasses!" "Search and Rescue is going to think we're calling for help with a big mirror!" Yea yea yea...So, I tried this product and I gotta say it's the only thing that works well without looking TOO obvious like you've applied a self-tanner. I've only tried it on my legs, so I can't attest to how it would work on a full body application. A few things to keep in mind, you need to wash and scrub your hands IMMEDIATELY after you apply this. Actually I use those disposable latex gloves for application. Also, the results don't last THAT long, and if you go into a chlorinated pool (or lazy river at the Mandalay Bay - I went in tan and came out White, LOL!), it WILL wash off. So, it's not perfect by any means, but it can make you feel a little less self-conscious around your tan friends. And if you can lessen the annoying comments about how you could be the lead in "Powder 2" then it's a win in my book!

I am fan of Sun Products, I've almost tried them all. I was amazed at this Sunless Tan lotion for fair skin. I have fair skin and I always buy the ultra dark and it does give me a dark tan, however this one looks very natural to my skin. It's very easy to apply and it works immediately. I like this one way better than the darker ones, because it's 2 tones darker and it looks amazing. My boyfriend asked what I did for a tan, he is fair skin as well, I introduced him to this product. It smells very good and so far has lasted up to a 6 days.

This is green colored. Yuck. I’m tan so this does nothing for me. Missed the return window unfortunately so now I’m stuck with this product that turns your hands green and does not work. Buy the one of the same brand that has the bronzer built in and is dark brown colored. It’s labeled dark.

I had melanoma about 10 yrs ago and have looked like a vampire since. Most sunless products are too orange and they smell is gross. (Except for Clarins) I stumbled upon this product by a friend’s recommendation.. Holy Cow. Smells delicious and I was tan (not orange) in a few hours. It has a bronze tint to it so you can see where to apply it. It blends into skin like a dream. I didn’t use gloves. I washed my hands after each section. Then when I was done I washed my hands with dish soap and the scrub side of the sponge. No orange hands! Lastly, THE TAN LOOKS REAL!!! Yup. That good.

I gave it a 3 star rating because it does not last very long, although the color is good and it’s easy to apply. I bought Xen Tan until they changed the solution for some reason. I supposed it spoiled me for all other products.

I'm not a self-tanner type of a person, and was really hesitant to try this, when one day, I was teased at the gym for having a sun-kissed upper body and lily-white legs. I did some research, and this product kept appearing. I tried it -- and am now addicted. So simple and easy to use. Never streaks, and the color looks natural. Doesn't leave blotches. Only issue is that you must be careful not to spill it... it will stain what it touches.

I was hesitant to try another sunless tanning product. I'm allergic to or break out when using the easy to obtain brands from local grocery or drug stores. Even the more expensive brands tend to leave a less than desirable orange glow to my pale complexion. However, this stuff did none of the above, and color was fairly even and of good quality. I am super impressed. The only reason I did not give this product five stars is due to the fact that the instant color, which is supposed to help you see where you've applied, really accumulates on your hands. Both times that I've used the product my hands where quite dark by the end of the application, and it took several minutes to scrub them clean. However, it did come off and my hand were not left awkwardly darker than then rest of my body.
