Cheap alternative that gets the job done
The 1" wide high quality leash that I bought for my golden retriever puppy is too heavy for the dog, so I needed a lighter, cheaper leash until the puppy grows bigger. This is definitely one of the cheapest leashes here with reflective stiches (I really like this feature and have it on all my leashes). It costs only 1/3 of my other heavy leash. The material is thin, the stiches are a bit rough, and the hook feels flimsy. All understandable. At this price, I can accept these tradeoffs, hence the 4 star rating. The reflective stiches are only on one side, which I knew when I placed the order, but they do work very well as shown in the picture. Overall, this is not something that I would use on my dog for years, but it's definitely a good, cheap option for short term/light duty usage.

Didn't come with the D-ring metal loop on it!
The leash itself is pretty good quality for the price and I like that you can adjust the length of it. However, the description for this product says the leash has a, "D-ring near handle for dog poop bag or other accessories." and the photo shows a metal loop/ring, HOWEVER--THE LEASH I RECEIVED CAME WITHOUT THIS METAL RING! Such a shame b/c I was specifically looking for an adjustable leash with ring at the top. I sent it back.

lightweight leash for gentle walkers
Pros: lightweight, reflective stitching on one side, has the metal ring near the handle for attaching things, inexpensiveCons: if your dog pulls at all, the material the leash is made of combined with the thinness of the leash will dig in and rub-burn your skin; the metal clasp is pretty small/light-duty (it works but getting it hooked on takes a bit longer)Our previous leash was a Good2Go that lasted 4 years before it randomly got cut at doggie daycare. We'll get another one of those when we have a chance (the store we visited was out of stock) but this leash is sufficient in a pinch.

Definitely for small, weak dogs
We purchased this for our shepherd mix puppy to walk. We had it for 2 weeks when she decided to rear back and lunge forward, breaking the silver clasp on this leash. Luckily, she was just in the backyard and running around, but we now had a broken leash. If your dog is small and weak, this is the leash for you! If you have a strong and/or big puppy/dog, definitely get something else.

Too small for my medium size dogs
I bought 3 of the 3/4" leashes for my 3 medium sized mutts, ranging from 40 - 50 pounds. The current leashes I have are getting a bit worn and due for replacement. These were cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. They are nowhere near the quality of the leashes I am replacing. Much thinner with a much small clasp. I'd use these for a dog up to 25 pounds but I wouldn't trust my girls on these. Returning.

good for price
I hate to say anything negative because the price was great but the material would end up hurting you if you had an untrained dog pulling hard ; i've had leash in the past and before i had trained a german shepherd she pulled and my hands hurt so bad afterwards..works perfectly fine for tiny or well trained dogs .

Snap is way too small
The leash is okay at best...flimsy would be an apt description. It's main problem is the snap that you attach to the dog's collar. It is very small, hard to open because of that, and takes several tries just to get it to attach to the dog's collar ring, which in itself is not overly large. I would not buy this again.

Sometimes simple is best!
This leash fits the bill, simple. It does have a reflective stripe which is good for walking your pet at night. And a loop to tie poop bags on.We just needed a simple leash for our dog.We started out with a retractable one however our dog didn’t like the noises it makes. Sometimes simple is best.
