Very comfortable
These are very comfortable jeans but they do run a bit large. I usually wear size 8 and could easily fit into a size 6 with these. I haven't washed them and they may shrink somewhat but if not, I will still keep them. Sometimes one just wants to have a looser pant and these will serve for those days. I would definitely recommend them but next time buy a smaller size. The fabric is a light weight. Perfect for summer.

They keep their shape
These are a BEST jeans I've ever bought. What I love about them is that they keep their shape and don't stretch out with wearing. Because of the material used they don't breathe as well as regular jeans, but that is a small price to pay for having them fit snugly throughout the day.Justine Willis Toms

Nice light weight jean in a great neutral color
These jeans have a little stretch but are mostly a lighter weight cotton jean that is good for the spring and summer weather. The color is a light neutral (not yellow) beige that is so versatile that it will go with anything except something that is clearly white. Because of the high cotton content, they must be ironed because they wrinkle, yet they are not quite as soft as all cotton. The cut and shape are flattering but they seem to run slightly smaller than most other NYDJ Marilyn pants and jeans after they are washed. They shrank a bit after I washed them and dried them in the dryer. I sized up to my usual non-NYDJ size and they fit well. It is worth it for me to have to iron them.

If they fit right, they're definitely worth the price.
Wow. I just looked and the price went up to $129. I paid $78 and I thought that was high. But just keep an eye on them, the price fluctuates a lot.I really want to help people decide whether to get these jeans or not. I pore over the reviews first, and at this price, as much info as possible helps. :)Here goes... I'm 5'7" about 135 lbs. with a long torso and a thick waist. I literally have no bum, thanks to a recent surgery, so I pretty much live in leggings with long shirts. I used to live in jeans (Calvin Klein-always fit perfect) and now the material just hangs there. Bummer! Anyway, a friend told me to try NYDJ as everyone she knows loves them. I decided on the Marilyn, because I like a straight leg. I chose the Lombard shade, because I like a medium shade of blue that has a grayish, acid-washed tint. This shade also has whiskering. I have to say, I LOVE this shade! I ordered a size 8 after reading the company's advice and most of the reviews. They are right. DEFINITELY go down a size from your normal one. I usually wear an 8 or 10. I thought about going down to a 6, and if I wanted them tight and form-fitting, I probably could have, but I like my clothes loose-fitting. That being said, the 8 was a little more loose than I like. I almost needed a belt, which with my thick waist, I almost never do. The fabric is a thicker, heavier jean material than I like. They also are kind of stiff. They probably would get softer with washing and wear. I don't think they would shrink, even putting them in the dryer, due to the stretch of the material. The length was just a tad long, probably a 32", but I was barefoot. They probably would be fine with a small heel. I have to admit I really liked them. They checked off all the boxes.EXCEPT... remember my lack of bum to fill it out. I SO wanted them to work. But realistically, at that price, I just couldn't keep them. I'm probably stuck with leggings and long shirts for the rest of my life.SO... if you can get past the price, I think most women would love these. The fit is flattering to most figures. They're casual, yet you could easily add a nice blouse and heels or boots, to dress them up. Don't forget these are straight-leg, not skinny or bootcut. There are a lot of shades/washes to choose from. AND DEFINITELY SIZE DOWN!I hope this review can help you make up your mind. Cheers!

Very happy with these new jeans!
I tried on this brand of jean years ago at a department store and remembered I really liked the fit, but at the time I bought a pair of Levi's on sale. So, when I saw the recent sale on Amazon I got a pair. They fit great and seem pretty comfortable, but I have to still wear them and put them to the test. Overall, I very happy with my purchase.

The worst that could happen is that I'd be disappointed and ...
These seemed a bit pricey to me and initially I balked but thought I could at least give them a try. The worst that could happen is that I'd be disappointed and have to return them. The first thing I noticed when I first saw the jeans was quality of workmanship and materials. Then I put them and they were comfortable and fit perfectly from the moment I put them on. I knew then that they were worth every penny. Probably will not buy another brand of jeans for the rest of my days.

Beautiful Jeans
I bought these jeans originally from a department store for full price then I saw them on Amazon for almost half of what I paid in the store. I took the others ones back to the department store. They were the exact same jeans! NYDJ are the only jeans I wear. They fit me perfectly they hold everything in and make your backside look great! You can't wrong with these but just like other reviewers say order down a size because they will stretch.

Worth the trouble to hem them!
These jeans, sized down as the manufacturer recommends, are the absolute best jeans I have ever worn! My first pair of NYDJ jeans and they will be my go-to from now on. I have a pear-shaped body, with a small frame and am 5'4"-borderline petit. Normally I am a size 4, but I got a 2 in these and the fit was perfect except that they were too long; I had to take 4 1/2" off of the length. The fabric is so comfortable, with just the right weight for the warm climate where I live, and just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable. Jeans are very personal, and every body is different, but I am in love. The dark tonal wash is really a blue, but a very dressy dark blue. And the pockets with the extra detailing really make them stand out more than a typical pair of jeans. For me, it was totally worth the trouble to hem them!

Siempre me gustan
Son exelentes, cómodos, vestidores, pero si tienes que tener mucho cuidado de secarlos en lo más bajo de la secadora.
