Great quality green tea. Also a great value buy.
Really light, easy to drink, pure, refreshing taste. Great for early summer mornings, and now for cooling autumn afternoons. Hard to find organically grown tea for this price too.

From Yellow Mountains
This Mao Feng brews light-bodied, pale yellow liquor with a vegetal whiff, a clear, mild flavor, and a floral-sweet finish. This would make a good introduction to green tea, because it has such mild flavor. It is also forgiving; brew a little too long, and it's still good. I get three good steepings from this tea. This tea seems to be a little lower on the caffeine scale, even for a green. No matter how much I drink, I never seem to get the jitters It's good hot or iced, and needs no lemon, milk, or sweetener. It is not the best tasting, nor best quality Mao Feng I've bought. But if you want those attributes, you're going to pay a lot more. Recommended for anyone who doesn't demand a strong tasting tea. Sippy, sippy!

Best Mao Feng I ever tasted
The best Mao Feng I ever tasted. It has a roasted vegetal taste and aroma. It also has a pale green appearance. Tealyra is my absolute favorite online tea shop.

Solid tea
Good tea. It has a very unique, pine taste, unlike any other teas (and especially any other green tea) I've had, with a sweet umami aftertaste that is a delightful characteristic. I would give it a deserving five stars, but it's not for everyone, or for all occasions like a sencha or certain other teas. Nonetheless, it gets the job done.

The Supreme Mao Feng Fujian Green Loose tea
I have been an avid tea connoisseur since I was a child. Being a big fan of Teavana, I was disappointed when the chain closed. My favorite tea vanished and I began a search for my next favorite. And I found it! The Supreme Mao Feng tea is superb! It has a medium texture to it, meaning not too delicate and not too strong. It is just right. It has limited caffeine and I'm able to drink it not only in the morning but throughout the day into the evening. The tea has a beautiful flavor that does not leave an aftertaste. I highly recommend this tea.

Needs care in preparation
This tea is okay, not the best I've had but far from the worst. Using boiling heat water will destroy this tea, so you will need to experiment on cooling the water after it is boiled, before infusing the tea. Mao feng, when properly made, is really good tea, but easily burned

A lot of tea particles/dust
The tea is good but came with a lot of tea "dust." As you can see in my photo, I put about 1/6 of the bag on a strainer and shook it. This is the result. (You can also see that the whole leaves are of decent quality for the price, but you're also paying for a lot of powder you can't use.) Hopefully they're not padding the weight of their product with unusable bits, and it's just a problem with how they store their tea in zip lock bags. Maybe the tea leaves are rubbing against each other and creating the dust. Hopefully Tealyra can fix this usually--perhaps vacuum sealing the bag would prevent friction and grinding the tea into fine particles during transport.
