Both products are amazing! The curl jelly keeps frizz away, and is not too heavy feeling. The banana butter leave-in conditioner smells so good, I could eat it. Both work well in my hair (I have 3C curls) and both items get two thumbs up! PS- My son really likes the curl jelly, despite the pink tube.

I do have natural curls but sometimes, especially on hot, humid days they don't hold up as I would like it. A squirt of this 'scrunching jelly' rubbed in the wet hair does the trick – sometimes between washing my hair I simply rub the dry hair with wet hands, and the curls hold and don't get 'weak'. It is working like a hair fastener but when I brush and comb them they don't look sticky and feels soft and natural. A tube of this jelly lasts a long time, so it's worth the money, more than the expensive curl shampoos and conditioners.

Great product - works wonders on my semi wavy hair

2c/3a thin/normal hair here. It's very good, but I'm comparing it to Garnier Fructis Curl Treat Jelly that was my absolute favorite and was discontinued (whyyy does that always happen?!). The gel leaves a medium/light cast with reasonable hold and definition, does not weigh my hair down or leave residue on it. Im noticing a bit of frizz after 3 days which is normal and my hair still looks good and curls are clumped into ringlets. It's easy to comb through on wash days, does not feel sticky and washes out easily. Soft clean scent that I don't notice after applying. I will continue looking for an exact dupe but for now this is working great.

I have long curly hair. The shorter is it the curler it resets, my hair is down to my knees so my super curls are at my knees and by my face and neck where my new growth is. I like this product because it helps with keeping curls throughout my length but it does give a bit of a greasy feel if I use to much of it.

This is the only gel I'll use in my hair. It's got a decent hold, is extremely lightweight, smells fantastic, and doesn't leave any buildup. As a low porosity girlie prone to product buildup, I love this stuff. It's not great at controlling frizz, at least for me, but I'm finding other products to add into my routine to compensate for that.

This has a fantastic hold for my low porosity tight curls while blow dry diffusing. But it a tad too heavy for hair drying.I would give 5 stars and buy this product in bulk if it wasn't for the extremely strong fragrance, almost like cheap rose perfume. It is strong enough I can't wear it every day without giving myself a headache. But when I do wear it, my curls diffuse into perfect clumps with ease.
