Wore down after about 6 months
I had quite a few keychains on this thing (everything together probably totaled about the weight of a golf ball) and the part where the lanyard and metal D-shape meet frayed pretty severely. The hook also broke. You have to wash the checkered one occasionally, the dirt is pretty obvious on the white squares. However, I gave the second one to a friend and she loves it and has no problems with it. She doesn't have less keychains than me. The plastic clip was AWESOME and hands down my favorite part about this product. It's so convenient to unclip it from my neck, put my keys in my car, and click it back on when I get out. Going to rebuy this.

Shrunk too much when washed
Worked well for the purpose but shrunk alot when washed making them very short.
