2024 UPDATE - Plastic slider tabs broke on my two year old lid (below). So I ordered another lid and this lid fits tighter and the slider is much firmer and doesn't slide open as easily as the other one (a good thing when traveling). I highly recommend this and two year life was about what the original lid gave me for the original cup and lid combo.2022 REVIEW - I am using this to replace a lid on sodilly beverage container (16 oz) as the slider on the original broke when I was trying to clean the lid; I can concur that this replacement lid does not fit as tightly as the original, but I replaced the replacement's gasket with the ring from the original and the fit is much improved. Once again the weakness to the overall lid design is in the slider which has plastic tabs that hold it into place that can break allowing the slider to be lose and to spill contents as the slider completely falls off. I guess the word of caution is to be very careful when removing slider to clean the lid. At least there is a replacement you can purchase, however!

First of all, this lid is not intended to be 100% leak proof. There is no seal on the opening that prevents leaking if tipped upside down.However. This lid works for my 16 ounce stainless steel travel mug from a different Amazon business with the initials CP. I contacted CP wanting to purchase the lid alone, and they could not help me.I didn't want to discard my favorite mug, so I've kept it for months hoping to find a replacement. I had no luck searching for "threaded replacement lids". I figured I would take a chance with this lid, as I could return it if it didn't work.It works! This is just a push on lid, but it seals perfectly on my threaded cup. There are no leaks forming on the seal, so no erroneous drips on my shirt to give the appearance I've forgotten how to drink like a normal human.I've only washed it a couple times, so I cannot comment on the longevity of the seal, but I assume it won't be an issue. I will update my review if it starts to leak.

The description says this is for 8.5 cm. The actual measurement is 8.2 cm.

Bought to replace a broken lid,, fit my cup well, my only complaint is that the slidey piece at the top is a little loose so you have to hold it with your finger when you drink or it closes on you. It's not tight enough to be fully spill proof out the drink hole, but the seal around the cup edge is good.

The lid that came with the cup looked cheap and felt cheap. It just didn't match the cup and cracked after repeated use. The Replacement Lid is sturdy and provides the added comfort I was looking for, no leakage and it fits perfectly!

Fits my tall Swig mug perfectly! It was very good at first, closed tight, no leaks. But now the slide that closes on the lid seems very loose 4 months later. Still mostly functional so I'll still use it, but definitely not spill proof anymore. If I get another I might try not putting the lid in the dishwasher and see if that helps it last longer

I finally found the right size lid for my Swig stainless cup (-20 oz) since Swig website is out of the size I needed. I came back from vacation and dropped my cup on concrete and the outside rim of the lid busted. Lucky my Bucee's lid was same size so I was able to use that until.i found a replacement.
