Q: What's the difference between the presence of glucose in the urine and high blood sugar?

High blood sugar indicate an excess of glucose in the bloodstream as the body struggles to regulate blood sugar levels, while the presence of Glucose in the urine can be due to high blood sugar OR kidney issues and other issues.

Q: what does positive Specific Gravity means?

The SG value is measured against water so unless we are measuring SG in water the value will always be greater than 0, so a value of 1.0 is the minimum value for urine.
