can these be used on plastic back boxes

Despite the answers previously I have just used one on a plastic back box. I clicked out the yellow screw holder on the side that needed repairing, used a hacksaw to remove the nut attachment leaving a uniform flat finish. Fixed the repair clip onto the yellow holder (with help from a flat screwdriver) and clipped the holder back into the back-box. Worked a dream and took less than 5 minutes.

Do these fit a 3.5mm screw?

A standard electrical screw will do same as in sockets and switches.. length can vary depending on situation
