Technique matters
I work in a restaurant and have used these kind of molds before. There are so many brands and types out there and you never know what you might be buying when it's this inexpensive. So like you, I read the reviews, and alot of people were stating that after a few uses they became unusable. But there's a big catch when it comes to those reviews. "technique and care of the product.1st washing with mild soap is fine. But if you use anything abrasive, you will mess up the coating. I just wipe them clean with a napkin and soap. No spunges or dishwasher. And if you use a sponge, never use the rough side. It's non stick. Food won't burn onto it. So you don't need to scrub.2nd the instructions say to leave the rings in the pan for ten seconds before pouring in the food. I'd say put the ring in the pan when you turn the stove on. The ring will come to temp with the pan and work perfectly.3rd cooking spray works better then butter on the ring itself.4th as per instructions, poor food in slowly. When you poor slowly, it allows the food to tighten up quickly, creating a seal at the bottom, preventing it from pushing under the ring.5th and this is general cooking technique. If your pan is too hot, then the bottom will cook before the sides that touch the ring. This will cause your food to stick/ burn to the pan. With rings like this, you want to cook at a slightly lower temp. Even cooking is important. All of these things will add up to well cooked food, that doesn't stick or burn.I've cooked different types of eggs, pancakes, and even buscuits in them already.

Perfect egg-sandwhich everytime 🥚
I love these!I make breakfast sandwiches in my morning for my hubby and I and these help keep everything together.I use to have trouble folding the egg so it fits in the buns but now I don't have to worry on that with the egg ring. For easy to remove I put 4 star because there is a little learning curve.1) you HAVE to spray the ring because the egg will get stuck and you can't get it out easily.2) I found cooking on a low heat it better so you don't crisp on side before you need to flip it3) wait til the egg cooks through for a "cleaner" flip (again cooking on low will allow it to cook through and not burn the bottom)Seriously great product and makes sandwich making enjoyable and easy.

Uniform pancakes
I ordered this for my husband whose pancakes always come out looking inedible. He is like a kid in a candy store insisting on making pancakes for anyone who wants one now that he has this new gadget. He loves the way the smaller one makes the perfect egg as well.

Waste after a few times of use...
Only works great for the first a few times. After 3 times of use, it becomes impossible to separate the egg from the ring. I soaked it everytime after use, but still...update:the seller is really nice and sent me a replacement. I'd love to give it a second try and see how it goes. Will update my review again after I try the new one.

follow the instructions
update: good concept but if you dont put a lot of grease/butter on the rings then pancake mix sticks to it alot.works great for eggs though. after posting the initial review, the company reached out to me and sent me another set, i think of all the things i have ordered from amazon, not that many vendors reach out to make sure you are satisfied with the purchase, so i'm quite satisfied with them. :)

Love these !! Just "steam" a bit
Ok, these are great! I make eggs and fry my sourdough starter with the 6". Use a large enough pan that the center will be "flat". I grease the mold with a little cocnut oil / Ghee. Put lid on, cooke for a few mins. Then pour a little water outside the ring, put lid back on, let steam for a minut or two.. Now i can remove the ring no problem.. Put ring in bowl of water (super easy clean up).Now i can continue cooking eggs or bread, as it holds it shape until I am ready to turn it.. Love these!!! (I fry onions in ghee/coconut oil.. Put ring in skillet.. Pour my starter on top of onions.. Sprinkle my mixture of sea salt, garlic powder, parsley.. WOW !!!

(Update to 5starts ) Stuff still sticks but you just live with it
Update Jan 2022. Having left a bad review, the manufacturer contacted me and offered to send another set of rings in case mine were defective. So top marks for customer service. I followed the same process as below but took their advice and let the ring heat up after greasing it. I believe this makes a huge difference as the eggs sears quickly against the edge allowing for uniform release. Not sure if this made a difference but I also bought a cheese melting dome that traps the heat and cooks the egg completely.Great customer service, great product.------ OLD REVIEW --------2nd attempt at purchasing egg rings. First one was stainless steel and really durable but the egg would stick. These really don't have non-stick properties and I thoroughly grease up the rings first and pour a small pool of oil in the rig when in the hot pan. I even whip in butter chunks into the egg before pouring into the ring knowing they will melt and hopefully help w/the release. I found I have to baby sit the egg ring and loosen up the sides as the egg cooks and firms up by sliding a small spatula around the inside of the ring. You just have to deal with it, not the end of the world.

Great value and gets the job done!
I like to use the least amount of oil when I make sunny side up eggs. With this gadget, I dab a bit of oil on the bottom and sides of the mold and also on the area of the non-stick pan where I would fry the egg. Super easy.Ensure the pan is hot, place egg slowly inside the mold, allow egg to set, then remove the mold. You can use a butter knife to assist in getting the egg out if needed. When the mold is out, I flip the egg to ensure the other side is cooked (2 seconds). Voila! You get perfectly round fried eggs that are perfectly cooked everytime!I also use the mold for making pancakes which come out perfectly round every time. If you care about presentation and using less oil, get this mold for frying eggs and making pancakes. You can also use this as a mold for making quiche and omelets. Very versatile!I highly recommend.
