Just as good as Annie Sloane
Love this paint, always used Annie Sloane but I wanted a bright white which she don't do unless you use undercover. This paint is fantastic, it's thick, low odour and so smooth. I have used it to paint a metal intricate head board. The head board is powdercoated a pewter colour and the chalk paint has covered it fantastically. No prep, no sanding. It's taken about 4 coats to get the cover I wanted. I would definitely buy again. I bought a 1L tin and I've only used a quarter of it so will be painting my fireplace too.

Great stuff
Never written a review about paint before- but this stuff is ace. We had an awful old bookcase, in a very old fashioned orange pine. This paint has sat around for a year as I thought it would be a big job. Finally got around to it last week, literally took an hour and has absolutely transformed the bookcase. So easy to use, easy brush clean up. So quick- only one coat needed.

Awful Paint!
Thought I'd buy the best paint but was so disappointed. Gave a low marking for thickness because giving it a 5 would indicate that it was a good thickness. It's extremely thick, to the point where I had to mix it over and over when it was sitting in the tray, it would literally be sitting for minutes, under 5...it looked and felt like it was paint that had been opened, lid put back on incorrectly and then left for months! Once on, which actually looked quite nice however, when dry it has these white marks through the paint, it looks awful! I'm going to try a third coat but I'm not holding my breath and I'm fully expecting to have to replace - think I'll go back to my cheap wilkos paint, never had a problem with them, ever!! Never buying again!

Poor experience
I bought 2 pots of this to paint my babies cot, the 1st coat went on lovely but did not cover well which is fine as I expected more than one coat of paint but the second coat was awful... applying the paint to the dried chalk paint did not go well. The second tin of paint was not the same consistency as the 1st and had a strong odour to it where the first didn't. The paint in the 2nd tin was sticking and drying as I was brushing the brush along the wood....tried a light sanding, but no better. Had to give up and trow the cot away 🙁

Very thick
This product arrived so thick you can turn it upside down. Trouble is it leaves line brush marks. If you sand it lightly it turns grey and if you add a bit of water it gets watermark lines. All in all not fit for purpose which is really annoying coz now I have to start all over again! Returning item

Good quality paint.
It's been second time I've bought Vintro paint. The black seems to be thicker than the other colour I've bought in the past, but it can be easily thickened using water. It's easy to apply, covers the surface nicely. Two layers are absolutely enough. Easy to wash the brush or roller as it's water based. The smell is subtle. I will definitely buy again.

Very impressed
Not heard of this brand before so was a bit worried about the quality, I have to say though this is really nice paint and has done an amazing job on the furniture I have used it on making it look like a brand new piece. Cant fault it at all it really has been perfect paint. The only tip I can really give is you have to get some primer to proof the paint and prevent it from getting stains.

Great colours
I really like the colours of this brand . Deep colours and excellent coverage. Tip: dip the end of your brush into a very small amount if water if the paint feels like its dragging.
