Doesn't seem to not be working
It's a nice bottle with a great concept. Not 100% sure it works as advertised yet. Usually takes a while before water bottles start to stink, even with proper washing. But so far, this is working, so no complaints.

Reviewed just after umboxing
Hi! I received the package a few days ago. It charged well and everything looks good on the outside for me, except it has a sound in the lid like some little piece fall off. Since you aren't able to see it working I'm not sure if is function properly. It is normal? Or is something wrong with it? So far I'm going to review it with 2 stars and I will update it when I get an answer. Update: I talked to the customer service from Philips and they suggested me to change the bottle due its issue, so I applied for a product replacement with amazon, I sent them the malfunctioning bottle and they sent me a new one. This new bottle is also not working properly after a couple of months, it has fog inside the glass that I think it doesnt let the product treat the water properly and also when I open the bottle the UV light doesn't stop working, I tried letting the lid rest for a couple of days until it seems to be dry but this fog come again with a few hours of use. I attached to this some photos and videos so you can see the problems better. So far I haven't become an answer from Philips, they stopped answering my email 3 weeks ago.

*update* Great tasting water before the battery died.
*Update* The company reached out and replaced the bottle. Their customer service was pretty insistent and I probably would have missed their email if they hadn’t been. So far so good on the new bottle. Looking forward to getting good use out of it. Ordered this for my wife two months ago on Prime day. She used it a few times and you can notice a difference in taste when using it to treat water, but it no longer holds a charge and can't even make it through a cleaning cycle. We probably only used it for five or so days, ten uses at most. Very disappointing.

Good, but not without flaws
First the pros... The bottle is made from quality materials and does a good job keeping the contents cold. I like that it's dishwasher safe. I had one hiccup with a weird pulsing orange light ring (which is supposed to indicate the top is unscrewed) but a charging cycle fixed it. Other than that, I charge about once a week and have had no issues with the UV light. There is no noticible difference in the taste of the water with this method of sanitizing and I have every reason to believe the process is working as advertised. I mostly fill this bottle at airports and feel much safer drinking it after it's been through UV sterilization. It also saves me from buying and disposing of $3-4 plastic water bottles each time I fly. The cons... As others have mentioned, the magnetic charging connector isn't terribly reliable. The slightest amount of tension in the charging cable is enough to pull the connector off the terminals. Moving the cap or bumping the cable will almost always result in a misalignment that stops charging, so you do have to be careful and monitor the green charging light. Secondly, there is little to no documentation or support available for this device. When I had my issue with the pulsing orange lights the manual was of very little help and I couldn't find the correct number to call for support. There's practically no information about this bottle available on the Philips web site. My final issue with this device is the screw-in posts that hold the rubber top strap in place. One of them came lose while in the water bottle pocket of my backpack and fell out. Luckily I heard it hit the ground and was able to later re attach it. Overall, I'm happy with this product and like that it's saved me money and eliminated waste vs buying plastic water bottles. It's a smart and easy way to avoid potential illness when traveling.

Good-looking, fully functional
I was attracted by the appearance of the product, and it was the yellow water cup that I liked. When I received the product, it greatly satisfied the girl's heart, and the outside of the product was a frosted texture. Features are very good and very comprehensive, with automatic cleaning of the intelligent funciton. Also, it has the function of ultraviolet ray sterilization and odor removal. I think it is a very good product during the epidemic period. The whole water bottle is made of stainless steel, so there is no need to worry about bumping. It can keep the water temperature when playing outside, which brings great convenience to life.

Good bottle, terrible charger
The bottle feels sturdy, well built, and the double wall insulation works very well to maintain temperature (I use it for cold drinks). So far no issues with the battery life or holding a charge for several days. My main issue is with the magnetic charging cable being super finicky. The magnets are supposed to align the charging pins to the contact points on the lid, but even after visually confirming that the pins are aligned and contact is being made the charging does not start. I have to jiggle the cable and find the exact spot of perfect contact(?) in order to get charging to start. This is the weirdest issue I've ever seen; the fact that even though I can confirm contact is being made it won't charge until I move it around is so strange. I don't recommend this bottle for anyone who gets frustrated easily.

You wouldn’t believe it! the cap was deep scratched!
I recently purchased a water bottle from Amazon and was excited to start using it for my daily hydration needs. However, upon receiving the product, I was disappointed to find that the cap was scratched. While this may seem like a small issue, it can actually lead to bigger problems over time. The scratches on the cap can cause the protective coating to wear off, leaving the metal underneath exposed. This can lead to rusting, which can be harmful to both the bottle and the user. Rust can compromise the integrity of the bottle and potentially contaminate the water inside. As someone who values sustainability and reducing waste, it's frustrating to have to replace a product due to a manufacturing defect. Not only does this result in additional waste, but it also means spending more money on a new bottle. Overall, I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product and would not recommend it to others. It's important for companies to ensure the quality of their products before sending them out to consumers, as even small defects can have big consequences. EDIT; After much trial and tribulation, they have reached out to me to send me a free replacement, but it had taken over one month to reach my address using UPS. Have it not taken one month I would have easily been happier.

I should have listened - doesn't last long
I should have listened to the negative reviews. The charge NEVER lasted more than a day from the get-go. I would charge it and restart it, only for it to die much earlier than it was supposed to and here I sit thinking that it's being sanitized, only to open it and smell musty water. So I got used to the fact that I had to double-check that it had charge and that it was turned on and keep it charging it whenever I was in the car. It didn't make me happy that it wasn't working as promised but I could deal with it. Then today I go to turn it on and it gives me flashing ORANGE. If you look in the manual, that doesn't even exist. OK, I think, maybe that's their 'red' for out of battery. The manual says to restart by pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds, so I do that and then it flashes...ORANGE...AGAIN! ARGH!! So now I think it really is dead and I have a uselessly overweight water bottle that can't go in the dishwasher. Well back to my good old Kleen Kanteen water bottles. Not so fancy but much less troublesome. BUY SOMETHING ELSE! --- Oh the charging port is annoyingly finicky and the LED color is hard to see. ---UPDATE - The company must be paying attention to reviews because it appears they pay people to contact those with negative reviews and offer $ to remove negative reviews. They've been emailing me at least once a week. I didn't respond until today to tell them 'no thanks' so we'll see if the emails stop finally.
