great fit for heritage rough rider
being used for a heritage rough rider with 6 inch barrel....tip of barrel sticks out about 3/16 of an inch with gun pushed ALL the way in holster, has about an 1/8th of "play" If you don't shove it in completely and the barrel is covered...great fit at the top with an easy draw...excellent quality

Well made for daily use
When you first get it, put a quart size or gallon size plastic bag around your gun and then slide into the holster. Might need to loosen the retention screw. Let it sit for about three days. After three days, remove the bag. The fit and removal of the gun will be much better. This a good quality holster and I enjoy mine.

Perfect Holster
I just bought this holster as a gamble , and hope my Taurus 6.5 inch Tracker would fit ! . I got very lucky it fits perfect . Buy with confidence .

Surprisingly Nice
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this holster. My S&W Model 27 fit nicely in it and is secure. I would recommend this as a good all around holster or a field holster

6" Colt King Cobra
Thou Desantis does not mention on product description, this holster does fit a 6" Colt King Cobra perfectly. Retention strap fits correctly with the hammer and Barrel tip is protected inside the holster material approximately 1/2 inch

Solid and versatile
This is the holster model for a six inch barrel. You have the choice of buying this holster (designed for a 6 inch barrel), or the model designed for a four inch barrel. In either case, you need to choose whether the barrel sticks out at the bottom (6 inch barrel in a four inch holster) or the have the 4inch barrel with extra space at the bottom. I carry either an Uberti SA 44 mag w/ a six inch barrel or a Ruger GP100 357 with a four inch barrel. Both seem to fit well. I chose to fit the six inch gun and opt for more protection for the four inch gun. The SA barrel goes to the end of the holster opening (bottom). The GP100 has an inch and a half of room between it and the end of the barrel.Both fit tightly (after adjusting the retention screw). The strap over the top fits both guns.I also tried my 1911, SW MP9 2.0, and Sig P226. None of those even came close to fitting.I took one star off the overall score because (like many soft holsters) the holster edge tended to roll slightly when re-holstering. A minor annoyance. Otherwise, triggers were covered, retention was good, ride height was good (strong side and cross draw).It’s well made and versatile
