Q: When I first put the faucet on the handle is angled forward. Is that right for the off position since It has no spring?

The other reviewers are correct. Pull forward for beer push back to shut off. Be sure to push back and shut it off before attaching to the keg. There is NO spring in the faucet. However, beer pressure will help keep it shut. But be careful, especially with large designer or branded handles. They can be bumped easily and once turned on, the faucet does NOT automatically close. I recommend a C02 system to ensure there is a constant pressure on the beer to ensure it stays closed.

Q: I've had issues with the 525 gaskets wearing out and leaking everywhere, any issues with the 630?

I also have two 525s and they both developed leaks after about a year. I've replaced all the gaskets and orings with oem parts twice and the leaks continue. I think the 525s had a design flaw as I've heard a lot of people having this problem with them. Time will tell if the flaw was fixed in the 630s since they haven't really been out all that long.
