Lifesaver!
After breaking both threads on a crappy plasterboard box that was recessed behind tiles I was struggling to find a viable solution until I found this.Yes fiddly to get in place and you need the space but in my case it was spot on. Just be careful that you can align them horizontally as mine ended up at a slight angle but not enough to warrant readjusting.

Fixed my problem
I got these because the thread was missing so nothing to screw the face plate on to. They are a bit fiddly to get in place and tighten up but if you stick with it they do make a good repair without having to change the whole box.

Not the best product out there
Firstly, the screws are too long for a standard UK back box. Secondly, the spikes fail to stay in place when attempting to open up the screw. After trimming the screw, i eventually managed to get the product semi working. Would not purchase again or suggest this product

Good strong materials, great idea... but
this is a great idea, I would have given a 5 if they weren't so bulky they are a bit fiddly to fit and don't give much room for manoeuvring. I think they would be great if they were a bit slimmer. think that there is scope for this as the size of them is quite over engineered for the purpose of holding a light switch or plug socket on

Awful. The only useful thing was the screw. I tapped the hole to an M4. The rest went in the bin.
