I was extremely impressed and happy with these grips. The presentation was great and the looks and fitment are even better. My only gripe is that the holes towards the heel of the grips is too large for the pin but that doesn’t really affect much. Overall, I’m very happy and would definitely buy them again.

The grips would not sit still. After a minute of handling the gun they would work completely loose. Attempting to tighten them down I realized that the threads in the nut were very loose. Almost as if they were the wrong threads for the included screw. The screw was able to rock sideways several degrees in the nut. To solve this I pressed out the nut and reused the nut and screw from the factory grips.The grips themselves are very nice. They give the gun a better feel and look fantastic.

These grips are beautiful and have a fantastic feel in your hand. They are designed for new model Rough Riders, and by that I mean post Jan 2021. Heritage has made a change to the backstrap that results in a slight difference between the fitment of their older models and the new ones. This company has already retooled their machining to match the requirements of the newer models. On older models these grips will leave a small gap on the right-hand side - nothing to interfere with their use, but not factory perfect. Doug and Bernie provided excellent customer service and I could not be happier with the company. But if you have an older model Rough Rider, be prepared for an imperfect fit. The grips are still usable for the older models, but if you are a perfectionist you would be better off purchasing something from their previous manufacturing runs. Great product, great company, run by some very decent guys..
