Would this be useful for a third- or fourth-grader?

I did these with my first graders and they struggle with building the 3D shapes, I’ve taught fourth grade and I think my kids would have loved these.

Would these be age appropriate for an advanced 4 year old?

I am using them with children who are age 5! We are making shapes with them!

Can we make a square or a hexagonal prism using this?

Dives Into Shapes includes the followingpieces:* 16 Orange connectors (10 holes)* 18 Red connectors (8 holes)* 16 Long sticks* 24 Medium sticks* 20 Small sticks* 20 Curves* 15 Double-sided, shape-building cardsHope this answers your question
