Best boot I've owned so far
I use to be a gorgia Romeo guy. But they were never very comfortable, especially during the break in period. These boot also had a break in period, but it was about half as long and they seem much more comfortable. I've had these for a bit over a year now, worn them nearly every single day and they still haven't shown much signs of wear. With my line of work, I was destroying a pair of Romeo's withing a year or a little over. Only thing I need to replace on these great boots is the insoles.I highly recommend these boots and I will be buying another pair if the ones I have ever decide to start falling apart

The best of the lot
I've owned three different brands of mid height shoes but this is the third pair of these that I've bought

Decent for light work, Great for casual use.
These boots have a sImple, but attractive design. The color is great. I don't usually go for this style, with the stretchy panel section in place of the leather. But this is a minor preference, and I'm not particularly bothered here. It's high enough to likely be covered by my pants cuffs, anyway. The tread is nothing serious, but do provide an acceptable amount of grip for walking on snow. These are generally water-resistant.I got these to have as a quick slip-on, for short winter errands, or more likely, simply to take out the trash. But I wound up using them more, as they are actually pretty comfortable, and basically go with everything. There was a brief breaking-in period. I found the top of the boot particularly rigid at first, and found the back of my upper ankle bothered by these rubbing as I walked. But after several wears, I no longer notice this.Structurally, these will hold for any light task. And the toe feels pretty solid, for not being steel-reinforced. But I wouldn't trust these in heavy, or dangerous conditions.

Everyday to work
I work as a manager in the HVAC industry. I am in attics, crawl spaces, construction sites and in my office at my desk. I buy a pair of Keen Chelsea style boots every year and wear them everyday. I’m a big guy but my feet never hurt. These boots are awesome

Really like how these boots look and feel.
These boots are replacing some Merrell boots I've had for a few years. The tread pattern is good, not sure how warm they'll be but they're very comfortable and good looking.

A mental shift
Let me be straight up honest, the only, and I mean only reason I ordered these is because of the brand. I absolutely love Keen, and own different kinds of shoes from them from their low tops, to hiking boots, to steel toe work boots, and now this boot which I guess should be considered a hybrid work boot. When I first got them I hurried and pulled them out of the package and slipped my foot inside and was instantly disappointed. Then, I think they sat in the box for three weeks. I can’t exactly remember what came up, but I wanted to be able to utilize some thing that I could slip my foot in and out of quickly because I was going to be in and out of homes in bad weather having snow and mud on my feet. I decided to go ahead and throw my custom orthotics into these boots, pull on some nice thick wool socks, and go for it.Now, I wear them every day. Boot paradise. The beautiful: the overall construction is fantastic. I consider this a medium duty boot that is constructed extremely well and stout, but not so stiff so as to require six months of a break-in. The leather is thick and obviously very high-quality, and I’m loving the sole and the way everything is put together. The stitching is just right in my opinion, and there’s just a little bit of design flair to it but not so much so as to draw attention to itself. I think as a general statement, looking at my feet or looking in the mirror, it has a little bit of a western flair to it but definitely not so much that I’m feeling like I’m in a cowboy boot. Feels and is behaving as I would expect a Keen to behave. I honestly hope this boot lasts me for a couple of years or more. I think the leather will hold up, I just don’t know yet what to think about the sole and how it’s going to last over time. With history as my guide with Keen, I’m guessing I’ll want a new pair before these actually wear out. There’s no ugly with this boot so I’ll call it the “questionable”. The general feel of the foot bed in my opinion does not have the same hold on my foot as the other Keen brand boots I own. This is not necessarily a bad thing, particularly now that I’ve been wearing them straight for a month. I’m mentioning this primarily to let those of you know who own other boots from Keen, that you should expect a little bit of a different support and general feel particularly in the toebox. Still excellent, just a little different. Additionally, even though this is something I’ve come to love, I’m a little bit worried about how long the thick elastic ripping down the sides of the ankle area will last. This is of course one of the beauties of this boot, allowing me to pull these on and off and snap back in place, but I worry about how it will stand up to abrasion over time and if it will just begin to stretch out or unravel in some way. Time will tell, for now it’s holding up great. As the last statement in this category, I don’t believe this boot is advertised to have any kind of waterproofing membrane such as most other boots by Keen, do. That said, I’ve had these out in a lot of snow and slush over the last few weeks and I’ve never come away with wet feet, but I’ve not been spending the whole day out in the water. Just something I’m a little worried about, and wish this boot would’ve had the waterproof membrane. Finally, just as a comparison, I’m the type of guy who loves to have a very supportive, tightly laced boot on my foot. These are not that, they obviously will be a little looser around your ankles and just a loser feel in general. But, these hold my ankle in place excellently, and overall the foot bed just cradles my foot in a way I’ve come to appreciate. I’ve never owned a good pair of boots that I can pull on and off quickly so these have become a game changer for me. I still will utilize my other pairs of lace-up boots for all day work in the yard, hiking, and so forth. But, these are my daily footwear right now.... and I’m already scheming to get a back up!

Great Looking Boots
These are work boots but they look like dress boots. My teen son loves them. He needs to wear work boots at work but since he is a teen, it’s important to him that he looks good. He also likes that they are slip ons, so easy to put on and off. They aren’t for rugged work or for outdoor wet weather but they are a nice boot and look really handsome. He wears a 9½ and we always order up a ½ size to a 10. We did this in these and they fit great.
