The size is 1 size smaller than stated in the size description. But the cloth quality is good.

I was not expecting such a great quality for the price I paid! I was so pleasantly surprised when I received it and it is so beautifully made, great quality material and a great fit!! I’m really happy with the purchase and definitely recommend it! (I purchased a M in beige)

It's more a shapewear than a waist trainer
I ordered size M and it's large for me, I am already at the 2nd to the tightest hooks and it's still not as tight as I would have imagined. I think because the material is too stretchy it just molds around the body. It also folds at the tummy area which might show if you are wearing it out with a tight shirt on. If there was a S size it would probably have worked better for me. On the plus side the material is 'breathable', if you just want a shapewear under your everyday clothes and not a waist trainer, this might work.
