We’ve run out of filters and unable to purchase for some time.Disadvantage of no filter:-seems like there’s s river because of the sound of flowing water specially when its half empty-the machine is having hard time working as the particles like from ac gets to the water and eventually to the machine overtime that causes to stop the flow.we provide the same drinking water we comsume to our pets so these are the cons i experienced w/o the filter..

It’s a scam y’all got it for my cat fountain and it’s very small and it does nothing
