A fearsome pair of meat claws
In recent times I had been planning on filming a shot for shot remake of the film Wolverine. Given the fact that all expenses are to be spared, I was extremely happy to be offered these. They are much larger than I had expected and should meet my needs very nicely. However, strictly speaking, they are not actually designed for cinematically shredding the faces of bad people who had it coming. If you've ever given serious consideration to the possibility of pulling your own pork, these are exactly what you'll need to make short work of it. However, they can also be used on pretty much any meat of your choice. You wouldn't be allowed to use them on swan meat, mind, unless you're the Queen. If you are indeed the reigning monarch of the realm, then please accept my my most gracious apologies, your Majesty. However, statistical probability dictates that you almost certainly are not bearing the Crown jewels. Assuming not, then you should think long and hard about the idea of a nice piece of venison, before going ahead and committing a crime of high treason. The blades intersect rather nicely, with each piece having a hermaphroditic quality. Thrust them together and you have a marriage between multiple protuberances and receptive indentations. Beautiful as the institution of wedlock might be, woe betide any joint of meat that should dare to stand between our brides and grooms, during the consummation of their vows! There is a blade on one side, although it is insufficiently sharp as to demand any great caution. We even find a bottle opener. Indeed, who wouldn't want to open their beer with a claw that is literally dripping with the fresh porcine spoils of a fiercely fought meat war?All in all, these are far more effective than a pair of standard forks. They could also make an extremely fearsome weapon, although they would be tricky to take beyond a patdown into a nightclub. For gangland warfare, I would probably favour a snooker ball in a sock. However, short of hiring a pro Hugh Jackman impersonator for an afternoon, I can't imagine a much better way to shred a joint of broiled beef.

A quality, strong and very handy pair of 'claws' for the kitchen.
I was pleased to try these 'Vamotto 3-in-1 Pulled Pork Shredder Claws - Stainless Steel Meat Claws BBQ Meat Forks for Shredding Handling Carving Food Barbecue Paws Claw Handler Set for Serving Pork, Turkey, Chicken, Brisket'1. They come in a branded stiff cardboard presentation box.2. Each of the claws have a thick opaque plastic pouch - very handy to keep them from scratching other items in your drawers.3. The red and black rounded plastic handles are comfortable to hold and are a good weight. They feel like a quality gadget.4. The stainless steel claw parts are strong and measure 5.5cm long x 10cm wide. I can't make them bend at all. They are set into the handle very firmly. The points are rounded, so are not too dangerous. One end edge has a blade and the other edge a bottle opener.5. They are dishwasher safe.6. I have tried them out on various kitchen tasks - turning joints over in the oven, holding cooked meat still while I cut it and vegetable preparation and they have performed perfectly. I haven't had a pork joint to shred yet but can see that this gadget will make short work of it.In summary - A quality, strong and very handy pair of 'claws' for the kitchen. The price of £13.99 is fair in my opinion.

good pair of meat pullers
This pair of Pulled Pork shredders are very good at pulling apart any types of meat with ease, they go into the fresh meat with ease and you can pull out a variety of sizes of meat shreds. The solid rubber handle makes them easy to wash and as per the description they have been fine in the dishwasher, takes a little getting used to the angle at which to pull to make them comfortable on your hand. Each blade is 5.5cm long with a slight curve to them and the end ones have a small cutting bit or a bottle opener to give them even more functions. I also like the little plastic sleeve they come in to keep them safe int he drawer. The inner width of the handle is 10cm across which I have found very helpful for my large hands. If you have found this review helpful, please hit the helpful button as this inspires me to write more.

A great gift for a lover of pulled pork or beef or duck!
Pulled and shredded anything is a bit a favourite in our family - we love it - pulled pork and bbq sauce is always on the menu at whoevers house we visit! We had all been doing our best using 2 forks to shread - and its not that hard but quite uneven sometimes and tends to dry out if left for a while.I saw these handy little claws and thought that is christmas sorted out for all the family - and they are really great. Very easy to use and give perfect fine shredded pork - great on beef and lamb as well.it works much the same as using two huge sharp forks - what i really like is they are so easy to use we use let people claw their way rather than doing a huge pile at once!maybe not a kitchen essential - but a handy gadget and great gift !

Functional and work well
They come in a cardboard box. You get a pair of meat shredding claws. The handles are chunky to hold so you have a good grip on them. Theres a nice wide gaps to put your hands/fingers through, not being too tight or them getting stuck. They are a durable non slip rubber which fit your hands nicely. The blades/claws are stainless steel, with a bottle opener groove at one end and a knife at the other. The blades are 2.3 inches in length and a good thickness ensuring maximum strength so they dont bend or go out of shape. Tearing through a cooked joint of pork, made light work of it. It shredded with ease, giving it a better feel to it than simply slicing. Easy to wash in the sink with warm soapy water, they are also safe to put through the dishwasher. They are comfortable to hold and give a good grip. It took a couple tears to work out the best way to use them. More convenient than pulling away with a pair of forks. They look and feel of excellent quality. A fun kitchen gadget to have.
