Is the "metal black" version of this band more of a matte finish or a shiny finish? Thanks

I would say the watch is a shiny finish for reference and the band is somewhere between a matte and a brushed finish. If you look at the side of the watch, it's different than the lugs for the strap. The band is more like the lugs, if that makes sense.

What's the difference between the black and the space gray?... they both look black to me.

Black is like the watch and spacegray is like the rotating bezel.

Can this be used for other brand smart watches as long as it is 22mm?

It depends on the watch. I have 2 22mm smart watches. The Samsung Gear Live and the Motorola 360 2nd gen (46mm version). This band does fit my Samsung but not my Motorola.

Looks good, function not that good

The straps are perfect, however not easily adjustable, the pins get stuck.The screen protection is really bad it affects the touch sensitivity.
