Jonard stripper for fine wire gauges
It's a Jonard tool and they are excellent. What more can I say? Do they make anything poorly? I have had excellent results with all of their tools for both copper and fiber optics. This is specifically a stripper for fine copper wire, 20-30AWG. I use it for the 28AWG wires on small Li Ion batteries to attach the JST2.0 connection for my projects. It cuts the insulation accurately without nicking the conductors and that's exactly what's needed.

Great for wires that are more snaller.
This is really great for the wires I use thus far for my model trains I would highly recommend for 30awg wires

JIC-1022 wire stripper
This stripper/cutter/bender is just what I was looking for. It is well made, works as advertised, and appears like it will last years. The lock is a nice touch, and the insulation on the handle is thick and tough. I recommend this for home wiring uses. Wire size labels on the blades are clear and easy to read.

Great Tool
I had to strip some 28 gauge wire. Once I got the hang of how to use this tool, it did the job perfectly.

Spring is too short
I like these strippers. This is the second pair I bought after being pleased with the first pair I bought over a year ago. The blades are sharp, so nicking of wires is minimal because you don't have to "potato peel" the insulation off. However, the spring on the strippers is too short, and mine was falling out constantly. Eventually, I realized that the Lock was the culprit (it would pull down to far when unlocking, allowing the strippers to open very widely and therefore allowing the spring to fall out). A ziptie tightly placed directly underneath the lock fixed this issue, and now my spring stays properly in place.

Sharp and precise
Easily strips 30ga wire without cutting into or straining the conductive strands. Would buy again.

Not closing properly. will not strip wires
one of the stripping heads is out of alignment causing them not to close fully thus not stripping. this is causing the wire cutting and stripping edges to catch and deform making it worse. only found this out in the field so tried filing down the deformed edges but it still caught and deformed it again....Id return it but filing it as much as I did probably voids my ability to do so.

Works perfectly
Needed for 30 gauge wire wrap wire. Cleanly stripped with no knicks. Smooth operation.
