Great value. Decent clone to Initio Oud For Greatness. A bit harsh in the opening but the drydown gets better and better. Excellent projection and longevity as well. The presentation is impeccable.

The smell was very common and sweet. It didn't last long either.

Sweet oud smell

It was a blind buy. I was excited when it arrived but i got disappointed on first opening. First of all, the inner piece of the cup was loose and first time on opening, it remained on the top of the atomiser. That wasn't a problem because it can me a factory error. I just sprayed it on my wrist and knew it wasnt the type i thought it would be. At first, it opens up like and insectcide. as it settles, you start getting some oud smell albeit cheap oud. On a positive note, I think it lasts too long. One or two sprays could take you two days. Even after washing it off with soap, I could still smell it on my body. I am keeping it to give to whoever may want it since I could not do a return on amazon for this fragrance.

Este Badee Al Oud (Oud for Glory) es, sin duda, el perfume con mayor duración que he tenido nunca. Lo usé por primera vez por la mañana y seguía notándose claramente en la ropa ¡dos e incluso tres días después! Una auténtica locura. En piel también tiene un rendimiento brutal, fácilmente más de 12 horas sin perder intensidad. El aroma es potente, oscuro, con ese toque oriental y misterioso que te envuelve desde el primer momento. Tiene carácter, no pasa desapercibido, y lo veo ideal para ocasiones especiales, cenas, eventos o simplemente cuando te apetece destacar. Eso sí, yo lo reservo para días frescos o temporadas más frías, porque con calor puede resultar demasiado intenso. En cuanto a la calidad-precio, es difícil encontrar algo que le compita. Huele a perfume de gama alta, con una estela duradera y una proyección muy generosa. Eso sí, no es para todo el mundo: si buscas algo suave o discreto, este no es el tuyo. En resumen: una bestia en duración, elegante y con mucha personalidad. Si te gusta el oud y los perfumes con presencia, este es una apuesta segura. Yo ya lo tengo como uno de mis imprescindibles.

Profumo molto particolare e di grande presenza. La prima impressione è intensa e “calda”, con una scia elegante che tende al legnoso/speziato. È uno di quei profumi che si notano e che danno un tocco più ricercato, quindi lo vedo perfetto per sera, eventi o periodi più freddi. Ottima anche la durata: su pelle e soprattutto sui vestiti rimane a lungo. Con poche spruzzate si ottiene già un buon effetto, quindi la bottiglia dura parecchio. Se piace il genere oud/orientale, è un acquisto con un rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero alto.

Okay so it’s a fraction of the price of the original. Should you buy it? Is it actually worth it? Does it really smell as good as the reviews say? I’m fortunate to have both the original by Initio and when placed side by side there’s a major difference. The strength depth and blending of the initio OFG is far superior, with Longevity as huge as its projection. This clone by Lattafa does smell similar. To the untrained or novice schnozzle it will smell so similar you’d be hard pressed to tell them apart. Is it worth it? Yes absolutely! It’s so close you can enjoy the scent of the original to about 85%. It’s perfect for everyday. Doesn’t break the bank, nor offend if you overspray it because it’s strength I’d say is a 4 compared to the initio’s 10. Longevity is a few hours. Not many hours or days even if sprayed on clothes. I like it. It’s good value. It smells good. Best of all it’s always on discount which makes even more scents (get it?) to go buy it. You may like it enough to buy the original! Just don’t go spraying that by the same amount you would this or you may get everyone vacating the 3 mile radius around you! Enjoy.
