Comprehensive. Good breadth not depth.
If you are a beginner this book may be a bit advanced. If you already know French and you need a boost, this book is recommended for you. It provides a great framework and guide to do your own extra work / reading using other resources.

Más que nada, hay que recalcar el punto en el que situamos a este libro como una forma sencilla para aprender los idiomas. Por lo menos para mí, al situarlo en el estado dicho de ayuda para aprender idiomas, sirve, pero si tú eres una persona que busca un desarrollo un poco más intenso y avanzado, sugiero comprar otro tipo de libros, pues de otro modo tendrán un libro para principiantes. Yo entiendo que a un montón de gente esto se les hizo difícil, pero quizá lo fue porque no tenían la noción base: existen 8 tipos de palabras. Esas 8 palabras serán acomodadas en diferentes patrones en relación a las reglas de los lenguajes predeterminados. LAS LENGUAS SON UN PATRÓN, UN SCRABBEL.

Let's say I've used quite a few things to study French. This is one of the more helpful things out there. Namely, it addresses the verbs, which is a biggie if you are going to use French for more than just traveling or basics. Sure, you can get by with a few of the cases, but you won't get far if you can't use them all. And use them proficiently. I'm using L'obs, Frantastique and Kwiziq (forget Duolingo) as well. Kwiziq is useful for drills, but their explanations aren't always helpful. Actually, the online stuff is good for drill, but you need a teacher to really help you. This book is good if you have the fundamentals and need to review. I think it's written in English for Anglophones, which some of the other things aren't.

Buen libro. Atención que está en inglés algunas indicaciones, por lo que es bueno saber está lengua también para entenderlo.
